To add, the Olympus Rally in the US in the 80s was the World Rally Championship; the last ever Group B world rally was held in the US. There is an Olympus rally these days too, but it's only a national event.

Could always get a small fix playing Dirt Rally. Get yourself a full seat, pedal, wheel, shifter, triple display or VR setup with haptic feedback =)

Or you can check your area for rallycross events. Autocross on gravel or mud. You can take any car you have, and although there are no speeds to do any damage, you get quite a workout.

I have to ask, I know its a race and such and I aint too much into this, but why in the fuck do the drivers not stop when they hit someone? Sure if they are in the middle of the road their fault but at 2:04 he EASILY could of stopped his car, turned it and driven Past the guy instead of directly into him and then not stopping after he did so.

They dropped many forms of racing they were covering in favor of "bubble gum for the brains" specialty shows. And when they discovered their banner coverage of NASCAR wasn't carrying everything it caved in. NASCAR has killed every other form of racing in the U.S. And now that they are going down the dumper they are taking everyone else with them.

That first season they already discovered it wasn't going fly like they envisioned. They did what ever they had to, to try & protect that.
