The great thing about what they do with the princesses in this movie (or at least judging from the trailer) is that they make a joke on how Disney portrays them and the crux of the joke is the fact that it are the actual actors from these movies that they are joking about. It's basicly Disney having a laugh with these characters and, like Mandy Moore said, allowing them to just sit back and relax. Also love how Kate Higgins is like: "I don't have a lot of lines." Guess Aurora is going to be sleeping a lot.

well to be honest i don't think the princess scene is gonna have much of an impact on the core story i feel its there for nostalgia you know when i met sarah silverman ( for the second time at an event) we compared it to infinity war well technically she did i tried comparing it to the pixar theory lol shes very very nice i planned on going to the premiere but couldn't get a ride which sucked though someone i spoke to said the red carpet only lasted an hr and was packed by the tim she got there which was 45 mins before show time

Still, if you go on the internet, why not visit a Disney website and have a laugh with that. Even if it isn't relevant to the main plotline, it's a still a nice easter egg in the movie.
