WRECKED - BEST SWIMBAIT ON THE MARKET? Savage Gear Line Thru Roach (incl. GIVE-AWAY!)

One could argue that this is a NO BRAINER: wrecking the 25cm Line-Thru Roach is not that hard to do when it catches so many pike!

Ye but you can prevent that: don't crimp the edges, use thick FC (1-1.28mm) and don't make really tight loops.

And again another great video guys, especially with the this lure I had some nice experiences too even tho I’m just fishing from the bank and im quite young but I once even had in my nearest river the Donau in south Germany a situation where a big Huchen (Taimen) took the 18cm version. Unfortunately it got off during the fight ☹️ but anyway for me the line thru roach is as you said one of the best swimbaits out there!! So anyway I’m looking forward for new videos and as we say in Germany Petri Heil !! 👍

I see you are using fluorocarbon leaders with these baits. Do they hold up to pike and do you think they make a difference?

Yes they do, with 1mm or wider. The wire has the tendency to kink and gets weaker. The best thing using FC: you can clearly tell when you need to replace it

Amazing Video - even though we are not allowed to troll in the bodies of water I am fishing the most (river Rhine on the south western part of germany - french territories) - the line through models work perfektly. Also your modifications match perfectly what I consider as best for improved hook up ratio. So, Grats on your video - Love it!!!
