As someone who plays with rc crawlers this is amazing to see, great camera work and presentation, subbed. That extendable wheelbase rig is insane, if any rc company made one people would say it was unrealistic. What a genius builder.

That was the best rock crawler build I have ever seen. I never seen one that could do the things it did. That guy though of everything when fabricating that machine to extend the frame and each wheel. Thank you for sharing this with us

Yeah after going back and editing I saw a few lines I wish i would have hit. It was really weird wheeling with Alec and his abnormal rig. It kinda messes with your mind on figuring out what lines to take. I really reminded me to put the blinders on when wheeling with rigs completely different then your own and to remember to do your own thing.

Only reason I could come up with is the vent tube was pinched and those are there to blow out instead of your seals. I need to do some research on that. I really had never noticed them sucker in there before.

I can fully appreciate the engineering of the rock dog car as well as wanting to be unique but I think I like the light weight and simplicity of the WG buggy for me personally cool to see him use all the tricks no doubt. I was always curios about the hydro static stuff on a crawler... They are super fun in tractors, smooth! That's some luck eh with that plug, kind of a wired feeling when things happen like that, like someone/things lookin out.

Absolutely nuts how that plug stayed in the car. my floor boards are flat and have not lips to keep anything in at all. with how small that thing is and 2+ miles of woops on the way back I cant believe it stayed in there. someone/something wanted us to wheel the rest of the trip, that's for sure.

Honestly I have thought about it so much. This is not a professionals opinion but when I took the seat out I saw my vent was pinched between the floor panels and the atlas. The only thing I could think of is its a pressure plug. that way it doesn't blow your seals out. I need to contact Advanced adapters as this will eat at me until I know what those are for and why mine blew out lol

That think is a trip. It looks broke in normal mode. when it puts it in wild mode it looks undrivable. but he somehow has made this think work and more dependable than most buggies. We have a full rig break down on his car. super interesting and worth the watch if you like it.

Maybe not. But what I do know is its pretty sick he did something different that functions at a very high level of crawling and is reliable. I had so much fun wheeling with them and scratching my head on how it wasn't just a idea but a functioning rig doing things I couldn't. may not be the future but most definitely got my respect.
