@@muscledoggs566for example renting was never an option for me since there are no renting stores here. Personally i use review to see how the game consist of, not for the vote that is subjective. What a person should do? I don't know but i never buy a game at launch if i'm not 100% sure that i'll like it (and even then sometimes i'm disappointed) So i think a person should chose the games taking in consideration his tastes and not others' (this review has a note of subjectivity that in my opinion alters it and renders it more of an opinion that a proper review) That's just my opinion though

Destruction Derby was such a sleeper gem. I'm glad to see the spirit lives on. I just wish this had the total destruction of your opponents like DD had.

There is a Destruction Derby 2 mod for Wreckfest on Steam Workshop, it adds DD2 cars, and all tracks, it's amazing

Wreckfest is the kind of game where you don't want to be in 1st place all the time, because all the fun happens further back in the lower positions. Depending on what type of race you're playing.

Got this on sale on Steam this weekend, it's a hoot. Definitely requires driving skill but also luck is involved, and being able to have different quick set ups for the same vehicle would have been nice.

I've been playing this game on pc for some months now, and I can tell you : this is the racing game you are looking for, everything is fun and well-rounded, even the single player, and the multiplayer is probably one of the best ever. Just buy it, it's really the best.

I like this reviewer. And in my opinion every game starts at a ten until you play it not the other way around, when you find something wrong then you take off points but most reviewers need to find enjoyment out of the game before adding from 0.

As someone who bought Wreckfest in early access (PC) some time ago and still loves it - I CANT WAIT to drive the camper van. For the record, the Online has way more mileage in it than the single player game, provided you have a thick skin. There are some excellent drivers and some ubersalt wreckers in the online. It requires a whole new level of skill and focus than the AI.

After 13 years, it seems that there is a successor worthy of Demolition Racer, I hope the circuits are more fun and you can crush and exploit the rivals with the jumps as in the mythical demo of Demolition Racer. For me the great fun covered car game of the year.

"The criminally underrated 'Test Drive: Eve of Destruction'". He's not kidding, its a hidden PS2 gem. If you love these kinds of games get this one on PS2 or XBOX too. Its also called 'Driven to Destruction' for those outside of America, like myself. It's got a neat little hub world for driving around, missions, painting and modding your cars. Great soundtrack too. Really great game and nobody ever talks about it.

the main thing I dont like in wreckfest is the damage can be impossible. like, the front end will be smashed up into the interior but the wheels will still be floating in their original position, not attached to anything. it does also reach a point later in where the career becomes a grind
