Like a hour glass or something that stops time for 5s and is stackable up to 4 for additional 20seconds. That would be alot for money builds.

Old could be an idea for an engineering build. Smaller stage means it's like Engineer's clumped buildings except for the entire stage" which makes stuff like Landmines cover more effective area.

The 2048 run: multitasker but you must combine all weapons.

what i am most excited to see from a multitasker run in the future is seeing what you think types of weapons synergize with one another, like getting maximum benefit from a full 2 sets of 6 and seeing an experts opinion on which ones work well together as actual weapons and as additional bonuses. Would 6 swords and 6 scissors combo well with lots of regen, liefsteal and armour on top of decent damage and crit chance? stuff like that, or is the fundamental way the game is structured make achieving 6 of each too unfocused and spread too thin?

On that note of the best engineering builds not needing structures to murder enemies that makes screwdriver better than wrench imo due to scaling damage off of the engineering stats which also scales structures. Edit: a better way to call the reason the structure spawned are weapon structures(turrets from wrenches or mines from screwdrivers) or standalone structures(turret items or the landmines items)

I think more of a mix of turrets is better basically need as many fire turrets as it takes to thin out the herd then combine from there for single target.

Sausage or whatever that item is that makes your turrets ignite enemies would be great. You rolled past it right before wave 16 I think. Another reason why book is sweet.

I feel like if you're using a lot of wrenches, you probably have a higher chance of getting bonus turrets. You were getting a LOT of them this run and generally tend to see a lot of them on other engineering runs, so they may be an alternative option is the tool weapon class outright. Would make sense seeing as they're kind important to the run succeeding.

almost my exact approach when i first did danger level 5 on the multitasker but i also added some screwdrivers

I think instead of having a bunch of purple wrenches you should aim for the legendary wrenches because the AOE seems so good.

this was how i played the multitasker at first in an attempt to bypass the damage down, it worked (danger level 2 lol)

I think there should be an epic item that makes structures spawn closer together and gives +engineering. Maybe limited? It seems like engineering takes so much of the item pool for so little payoff.

An idea for a run is to go into the gameplay options and jack up the enemy health,damage,and speed to max to try and beat having every enemy nearly doubled in stats.

I’m curious, if you have hunting trophy while having surplus material from the previous wave does it double or is it just picking up material.

It is an effect that happens separate from normal material gain. It would still be +1. e.g. (2X)+1 not 2(X+1)

hunting trophy just adds a material rather than add a drop, which means it doesnt give extra exp. metal detector however can double previous wave surplus, turning the 2x to a 4x

"Feast or famine" is pretty generous. Wrench is just underpowered, and screwdriver is even more underpowered.

Is there an engineering build that is high dmg for killing bosses. Don’t have seen one, they all seems very bad in dmg no matter how many engineering and good items you get!

Still really not a fan of the addition of Engineering It feels really inconsistent to use and also not as effective as a direct damaging tool in comparison to Melee or Ranged damage (which is also a problem Elemental has) I also absolutely don't get why it is completely unaffected by the % damage modifiers, it doesn't make any sense why it should be and the only thing it causes it to be abused for cheese for characters that have % damage restrictions
