Another fact in WWE 12 was CM Punk was going to have his Nexus entrance video along with his classic This Fire Burns song for his entrance, but due to him debuting the best in the world gimmick after winning the WWE title, THQ quickly swapped it with his new entrance video and his Cult of Personality song late in development

Ha really nobody knows about the Easter I discovered as a kid, i’ve never once seen anybody ever mention this. At the very beginning of road to wrestlemania when you’re walking out as John Cena, If instead of following the security guard and if you go up on your own backwards, you can find shamus stocking you from a far, foreshadowing what happens as you make your entrance. I always love that little detail as a kid

This game was the reason I finally bought a PS3. Prior to it I was happy getting the PS2 version of SVR. When I found out that they weren't gonna be making anymore WWE games on the PS2 I figured it was time to upgrade. I saved up money from my very first job and bought a PS3 and this game. It was the best decision I made at the time. I put a ton of hours into this game since I didn't have much else going on back then.

One easter egg featured in this game (or WWE '13, I can't remember exactly which...) was the WWE Network logo shown in the Universe Mode. When making a new show in Universe Mode, there were different brand logos to choose from, including former WWE shows such as ECW (the WWE version) and FCW. But one of the logos features was the WWE Network logo, which featured the newer WWE logo design. This would imply that the Network was in development for some time, probably even before WWE '12.

There's one more "fun" fact. Sometimes, in Cass's story mode, you won't be able to get past the Elimination Chamber event. The prompt to continue to the match will simply never show up. Apparently, there are different solutions of varying effectiveness, but, for some lucky few, none of them will work.

Yeah that happened to me before and I later found out it does that only when you edit Cass's moveset (specifically his finishers/signatures). If you switch his moves back to default you can play the match. It probably has something to do with one of the in match prompts/cutscenes not being able to activate if his finishers we're edited.

One of my favourite feature in wwe 12 was create an entrance video mode you would get a simple lay out of themes for your custom entrance video (movie star, gold medalist, islander etc) and your caw would be shown hitting their finishers on who ever their highest ranked rival was

No they aren’t. There is a way for you to backdoor your way into WWE SVR 2011 and WWE’12 Servers by buying and reinstalling the WWE Online Access DLC, but no one in ever online. Also, you can’t access the original options directly.
