When the pyro didn't go off for Randy, it wasn't a technical error. It was because Randy was supposed to stand on the turnbuckle and point at the sign (so they could get a dramatic shot of him) but he forgot. He finally remembers and when he climbs the turnbuckle, the pyro goes off.

I really do think that the best ways to do with the 2005 rumble was to have Batista and Cena declared as co-rumble winners, and then have them wrestle for their mania spot at No Way Out going into mania and get that back on track because personally that double elimination was amazing to see and the fact that neither man got injured in the bump is a testament to how well they protected each other all the way.

Fun fact: Vince actually only tore one of his quads when entering the ring. It was when exiting the ring that WWE's medical staff attempted to carry him out on a stretcher, but he refused. In attempt to walk backstage himself is when he would tear his second quad. 😂

Charlotte shouldn't have been champion in the first place. 😊 Ronda vs. Charlotte is widely regarded as one of the worst WM matches of all time. Somehow it managed to be worse than a match with fucking Snooki and another one with Vickie Guerrero.

I think the rock royal rumble blunder was more a blunder on Paul Wight's part, he clearly fell on his legs instead of going over him completely. The Rock I imagine fought for Paul back stage to make it a storyline and get some of not most the heat off his back as you can easily point out that The Rock could have easily just moved his legs.

The 2005 always ticked me off. Not because of the botch but because of wwe poor excuse of taking advantage of it. This visual of Batista and cena was even better than the 1994 double rumble finish. Instead of rushing a finish to the rumble I would have ended the rumble with both being declared the winner and set up the next ppv - the one before mania - with a Batista vs cena match to determine who gets to choose their opponent. They both ended up in main events anyway so it really didn’t matter who actually won and a double win would have helped both
