@jayc278815 күн бұрын
When he was a teen and in his early 20’s he worked out at a gym that I went to. He wasn’t juicing then, and he was a gym rat. He was all about working his Lats. He had a very good frame and was cut, cut better than he was when he started in WCW, but he was still in great shape. When he got to WWF/E he lost a lot of definition. When he blew out his quad, I’m sure he was taking “something” to recover faster, and knowing his time as a gym rat, he was probably using that rehab time just rip through the gym. He was a former Mr New Hampshire or Jr. New Hampshire and knew what it took to get to that level. I have no doubt he worked hard to get into the shape he was in, but like I said, I think he took “something” to help his recovery that also helped during the rest of his time in the gym that wasn’t related to his rehab.

The use of steroids in Pro wrestling is obviously rampant, but Pro-wrestling isn't a ''sport'' , the performance enhancing makes no difference in a non-competitive entertainment arena such as wrestling, it should be up to the individual to use them or not, the problem comes when the usage is pushed onto them, that is when it is not right.

If you don’t know who Zyzz was, there are numerous fan videos on him on YT.

Yes a lot of them took steroids and probably growth hormone. But as they got older, the years of being beaten up all the time and age takes its to. Wrestling may be scripted but the injuries and wear and tear on the human body is tough. Even on some type of performance enhancers, the body just wont take it. But its the same in football, baseball and virtually every competitive sport . You have to do things cause your competition is. Look at lance Armstrong. If you wanna compete and the person next to you is doing ,what are you gonna do. Sucks but its not just in sports its in all facets of life. Do you wanna succeed, well you have to do whatever is necessary to compete, or just be ok with a participation ribbon. 😊
