It's not nostalgia, those eras were genuinely better, I didn't grow up watching wrestling and watching old wwe stuff now, i can tell you without being affected by nostalgia that it's undoubtedly better, funnier, edgier and just purely more entertaining.

They just need to turn him heel, make him badass and cool, have him win the title and beat all the top guys and then shoot on the company and leave with the title to a competing promotion. Then the next flavor of the month will beat him, get his year long reign where he beats all the stars and shoots on the company while leaving with the title Also everything in wrestling sucks, its not new, theyre afraid to take risks and try new things and constantly rely on the same tropes. The only exceptions being the ones i came up with..turn everyone heel and the top story should be Summer of Punk 2005 lol

I miss when wrestling had an aura, when watching wrestling use to be cool, now sadly it has lost that spectacle that it once was, VKM forced out, nose man killing the product, pushing all these charisma vacuum dwarfs... The real stars were forced out or refused to re-sign due to lack of faith in the current WWE product nor its leader, many the "then" stars burying VKM yet they forget that without this man, nobody would care about wrestling, let alone some bitter old Canadian still holding a bitter grudge over a botch match. Corny Rhodes killing the product day after day, just pitiful.

The product now makes me want to be a wrestler just to teach these ppl how to have a good gimmick and cut a damn promo because it’s not that hard. Also, most of these wrestlers haven’t even been in a real fight bc the punches look weird as hell. All you have to do is watch a boxer and learn how to have good drawback like Austin and Flair. That might be my dream now, to change wrestling and make it fun again.

I still think you are the man hater but I think you might be one of those fickle wrestling fans. I think you are conflating booking with talent. It makes sense cause no wrestlers bring anything original to the table anymore so they are interchangeable. Take out Drew and put in Karrion Kross and the feud with Punk plays out the exact same. In the old days wrestlers cut their own promos and that made some rise and some sink. Now nothing is special they are all basically the same. No one is special and they can all be swapped around without it mattering.

But some of them you like (Drew, Power House Hobbs) and others you don't (Karion Kross and Trick Williams). To me they are all very similar and the only difference is booking. I guess the point I'm making is that Karion Kross could be a main event guy if he was booked differently. Hell Cody is 6 foot nothing and like 200 lbs if he can be a main event guy anyone can. Again, much love my man but I think a lot of guys you hate on just aren't going to be able to make shit happen if they keep getting booked into the ground.

If Karrion Kross was facing Punk the feud will end in 1 month with how lackluster Kross is. I can use your same argument, Seth Franklin Rollins also have the same feud with Punk but does the feud have heat? Absolutely not, HHH had to insert him in Summer Slam as guest Referee to reignite his feud with Punk, which got the causals disinterested because they want to see only Punk vs Drew, and didn't want to do anything with Rolling why? Because Rollins couldn't keep up the feud the same thing that would have happen if it was Karrion Kross.
