Worked with that diagnosis for many years. Many forms and very complex. All I can say is embrace the good moments, have patience and you have my prayers. It is very heartbreaking and it became almost unbearable when my brother in law/ mentor/idol spent last 5 yrs of his life w dementia. I left the field shortly afterwards after 20 plus years.

@giannifriendly5600 you always do your best by them but because of the deteriation of the dementia it makes it impossible. You get over one crisis n bang you're right into the next one.To make matters worse just got told yesterday out the blue they've changed his 2 carers he's had them for 5 yrs they know how to work with him! We're contesting it with social work. Just never ends.

So sad he was such a good person but this knocked him off the cliff.

Thank you enlightenment Billy Jack Haynes was one of my favorite as a kid. I always wanted to see him & Hulk Hogan go at it & hopefully he would’ve won 🏅 the match & rematch. Not too many happy endings for most of these wrestling 🤼 legends ♥️🙏🏿

When I used to see him on Wednesday Nights at the Miami Beach Convention Center 5,000 ppl would all be screaming Billy Whack, Billy Whack, Billy Whack and he would get seriously pissed. I seen him wrestle there no less that 100 times with matches with Jessie Barr, Barry Windham, Mike Rotundo, Black Jack Mulligan, and Superstar Billy Graham who in my opinion made him look like crap. It was his matches with Jessie Barr that were the best you could tell they really hated each other and they were brutal. To those who say wrestling is fake I say go watch those matches and tell me its fake. There was a reason everyone hated him and we all knew he was definitely a quart low and now hes proven it. great channel by the way!!!

😮 WTF?!?!? Last year I had been watching a lot of past WWF shows from 1986-1987, primarily on Prime-Time Wrestling where Haynes was showcased in several feature matches. Reliving this period was something of a surprise as I didn't realize back then how much he was being pushed in matches and protected during certain losses, which made you think he was going places, but then out of nowhere he just fizzled out the moment he was paired with Patera, feuding with Demolition over their abuse of his cousin Brady Boone; and then he was gone. I had heard about the "clean-up" of the murder of two young boys a few years back, but it was also within the last year where I watched several shoot-interviews where he would be brought up with the common theme of him having a really bad temper and kind of being a mark for himself. Without knowing any details of this current unfortunate situation, you could say I'm surprised...but not really.

It is because the government has a vice grip on society. Every time something happens they make life for the rest of us. It only going to keep get getting worse because they don't get it. Sometimes bad things happen and life goes on. Now police have no concern for people or their health problems. Their so afraid to let one bad person get by. They would much rather destroy the rest of us.

Sadly the lack of help in this state for a situation like this is abysmal. Doesn’t make what he did right but I have to wonder if state services were better if this would have ever happened. Add the possibility of CTE to his behavior, which I've wondered about with his past behavior, and a bad combo all the way around. Terrible ending. Sad for their neighbor and her family.

Why are excuses always made? Some people murder purely for thrills, it is a domestic situation or they are just pure evil. When it is 100% the perpetrator's responsibility?

You know you may meet wrestlers who seem very nice but you think when you look at them or anyone else for that matter and think they may have a screw loose, that was this guy-Now back in his wrestling days nobody may have considered him a dangerous man but in interviews in recent years you could tell he was more than an eccentric person who was harmless. He came across as a angry nut who was like a keg of dynamite ready to explode. This don’t surprise me.

Could it be self-defence? Dementia patients can sometimes become violent.

i like many was a fan of billy jack in the 80s. he had an incredible look, legit tough and could work pretty well. I've become completely disillusioned with him and also sympathetic for him, seeing his breakdown from about 1995 on. he claims to be involved in so many conspiracies, makes outrageous claims against people, and just from interviews you could tell he was a danger to himself and others. let's hope he gets the help he needs, and if guilty, is given a fair sentence

Hi Lee another tragic incident involving a wrestler or former wrestler. I think it was Billy Jack that said he was a big drug dealer back in the day and a lot of crazy stories

Did Tom Laughlin actually own the character, “Billy Jack”, or did it belong to the studio who produced the original motion picture? Actors don’t typically own the names of the characters they portray in movies.

Did it on purpose. The word spelled correctly leads to being demonetized for video.

My dad’s dementia as well as incontinence got to be too much for my mom to handle and after him taking a lot of bad falls I was able to get him in a veterans home. That was a huge mistake because that dementia ward was staffed with incompetent people and two weeks after the lockdown he passed away. They lost 23 out of 32 people in that ward in just a couple of months. Everything was blamed on COVID but if you ask anyone, they really died of starvation and neglect. Nobody was able to go and visit for even months after things started lightening up on restrictions. I miss him dearly

Lee it has been said she had combative alzheimers and he was her husband and caretaker. I've took care of alzheimers patients and can very much combative not excusing act but can take toll mentally on caretakers but with back ground he had illness she had was a cocktail for disaster none the less.
