What's insane is that Bob Backlund, the world's whitest man, is name-dropped in so many rap songs

Kind of surprised not to see "Time to drop these 'bows like Dusty Rhodes. Then I yell ho. We knocking 'em off they feet like a Southern hustler supposed to do." from Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik by Outkast. That's a classic. Also Jedi Mind Tricks is great, as is the related supergroup Army of the Pharaohs. Lots of wrestling and boxing references. The song "Dump the Clip" by AOTP doesn't have any wrestling references, but it has a Red Sox reference and is probably my favourite rap track of all time.
