I really do have sympathy for D’lo Brown. Not only did he have to watch a good friend of his die but a few months later, he accidentally paralyzed another wrestler. 1999 sure didn’t seem like a good year for him.

Can you believe, in 5 years 3 out of 5 Hart foundation passed away. 97 Pillman passed, 99 Owen passed, 02 British Bulldog passed. Also in 02, Bret had a stroke after hitting his head while on a bike. Don't wanna say the Hart family is cursed, but with Neidhart passing in 18, Bret is the only survivor of the Hart foundation. DX still has all it's members alive minus China, Nation of domination also all alive, and the other factions I forget who they were anyway.

I think this is the best take I've heard on this situation, nothing like this had ever happened, so Vince would have been blamed one way or another. That is so true, as I was in the camp of "they should have stopped the show", but it's so easy to say after the facts... Good wisdom by D'Lo.

I love hearing Owen Hart stories. Hawk and Animal have the audacity to call D-Lo green after injuring Droz....this coming from stiff wrestlers who DROP HENRY GODWIN ON HIS HEAD USING THE DOOMS DAY DEVICE....Droz doesn't blame D-Lo for the accident so they can shut the hell up on that one.

The fall must have messed him up terribly. His wife said she was mortified seeing him in his casket, but Brett took her up, and she was comforted that his hair was the same. I'm a little confused as to how he (reportedly) was able to almost stand up before collapsing.

He didn’t try stand up he just lifted his head off the mat like he was doing a crunch then put his head back down and died, he severed his aorta so he didn’t die from the impact he died a few seconds after impact after his lungs filled with blood, he also hit his face on the turnbuckle causing severe bruising to his face that’s probably why his wife said she was mortified by what he looked like at his funeral.

Hearing these guys who knew Owen and loved him talk about him is so just heart breaking. Not to end on a downer, everyone who knew Owen seems to have at least one or two rib stories. Val Venis had a really funny one when discussing Owen. RIP Owen. and as far as the show going on, I feel this way: D'lo is correct about Vince being damned no matter what. However, if Vince wasn't willing to shut the show down, the KCPD should have done it to investigate into what happened. At least thats how I feel about it.

Nah gee i highly sincerely doubt this mah son i think the wwe is just messed up for not putting owen hart in the hall of fame everybody know he a posthumous hall of Famer gee don't even stress yourself about it. Your gonna have to confess his stubborn wife for not allowing wwe for putting him into inclusion for the hall of fame. Not if Martha or his kids have any say in the matter. For the longest I kinda had a problem with it....but after watching "The Dark Side of the Ring" I completely understand why....This company is soley responsible for her husband's death, and to add insult to injury these cold hearted bastards had the audacity to counter-sue saying Owen breached his contract...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!...He died on their watch and kept the show going like nothing happened.....If I were in Martha's shoes I would have resentment for the WWE and particulary Vince McMahon as if screwing over Bret wasn't enough.
