Thanks, Icy. The fish bite had slowed and I needed some more action.! They do have some awesome power and I was able to turn them both. Maybe I should have used some #8 wire? 👀

Mark, they were both fun fights. I could feel the rod flexing completely to the butt. Those bulls have some strength. I'm toying with the idea of taking some heavy gear down to see just what they have.

Intentionally, Wayn. I didn't want to lose a full spool of braid. That said, I may take my LT100 out there one of these trips and see just how much fight they really have.

Ha, ha! Those bulls were not going to get anywhere close to me. Now, maybe later on if I take the KW out there...... I hear they taste pretty good when properly cleaned and prepped.
