So in one day we got both the debut of "Office Shirt Mankind", pretty much his most iconic look, & the end of "Classic Macho Man", as when Randy Savage returns he'll have the "Modern Macho Man" look that he'd essentially keep all the way until his passing.

We are about to finally kick things into high gear in 98 in the WWF and in WCW! Also we are getting closer to when I first got word of pro wrestling irl, so that should be fun to look back on!!

As a kid I remember being so scarred by NWO Hollywood raising the cage up and then back down to trap Macho Man, DDP and Piper inside to beat them up. The visual has stuck with me all these years.

I was recently reminded that from 1997 to 1999 Jimmy Hart resurrected his First Family stable in WCW with Hugh Morris, the Barbarian, Brian Knobbs, and at one point even mega-jobber Jerry Flynn. But you wouldn’t know it from watching Nitro or even Thunder because they were mainly relegated to dark matches and appearing on syndicated shows like Saturday Night and Pro.

The best thing about this series is I became a fan the Monday after Halloween Havoc 98 when I caught Goldberg vs DDP on Nitro while channel surfing...Moesha must have been showing reruns that night. Anywho, things like Sting joining the Pack and Austin being teammates with Undertaker were fuzzy by the time December 98 came around and although during my tape trading days I would get old episodes of Nitro or nWo compilations it would still leave little bits out of the story....perfect example, Hennig and Rick Rude being R&B for 2 weeks then going back to Hollywood. I KNEW it happened but thanks to Wrestling Bios, now I have context. Thanks buddy!! PS - your editing skills are getting AMAZING, that Hogan Tshirt commercial was great. Ive always admired how your main strength is musicianship, your remixes are AMAZING sometimes, but your visual productional skills are almost neck and neck. Much love from Texas, can't wait to see what your toolbox looks like in 2 years.
