I was at this nitro. My mom bought me tickets for my birthday she knew I was a die hard WWF fan and she thought they were coming in town. I was still grateful of course. Now she has dementia and her getting me these tickets is one of her memories that she still holds on to

Damn, that's pretty amazing. My great grandmother had Dementia and she held onto a memory of me as a boy finding her wedding ring she dropped in her backyard. Something special about a cleat memory to still be shared in this type of circumstance when a loved one has Dementia.

Triple H was always good at selling, and not just in the ring. He sold his future opponents too, getting frustrated or scared. He might eventually steel himself, but he would always sell that initial shock.

Best thing about Thursday. One thing I've noticed watching this series is how much Mick Foley help make other guys. You look at Austin, you look at The Rock, and you look at Triple H. They had some of their best career matches and angles with this guy. Foley would do the same for Edge and Randy Orton.

I never knew about the kayfabe explanation from AA on why Benoit was stripped of the title. If Benoit had stayed in WCW, they could’ve used Sid’s foot being under the rope as a launching pad for an immediate new feud starting on this Nitro. It’s also worth noting that WCW didn’t officially count Benoit’s title win as it wasn’t listed on the WCW website while the company was still around

Okay I grew up watching WCW World Wide every Friday night on Channel 5 *UK* at the start of Jan 2000 which was a selection on Matches from WCW Nitro and Thunder and I remember this Main Event and why DDP was one of my favourites with him going into the crowd and the people reacted plus the pop when he hits the Diamond Cutter BUT This was not the 1st ever Wrestling Match I ever saw. I will comment on it when I see it all I will say is it was a Tag Match

I saw thing with Kevin Sullivan years ago. If I recall he claimed Sid's foot was always going to be under the ropes as his long term plan was Sid vs. Nash. Benoit would have his run but lose to Nash than years end Sid would be in line to finally take the title as a face
