Eddie is genuinely one of the most likeable wrestlers in history. His journey to the WWE title was great and the moment he won that strap was amazing. Add in his best friend, Chris Benoit's journey to winning the WHC at WrestleMania XX, you get the show closing moment of Eddie and Benoit embracing and crying as two best friends had finally reached the top of mountain after years of grinding on the biggest stage. THAT moment at the end of WMXX is in my opinion the greatest moment in the history of wrestling.

I started watching wrestling in 2003, when I was about 9 years old. My dad who randomly changed the channel while we were eating dinner, out on UPN 9, Thursday night Smackdown! Was the episode where big show stole Eddie’s burritos, and big show took a load in the bathroom that same night and Eddie stole all the toilet paper. I couldn’t stop laughing at his promos and since then, I became a huge Eddie Guerrero fan! One cause my family background is Mexican, so it was amazing to see a huge fan base just love and admire his character! When he passed away I remember calling my dad while he was at work in the morning crying. He was shocked as well. My dad passed away a few months after Eddie died due to cancer, so it was hard on me but whenever I do watch wrestling at random moments, just brings back the good old memories of my 2 favorite people.

03-04 was when I started to really understand what was going on in the shows and loved Smackdown so much more than Raw at the time and Eddie was just my favorite cause he was funny. He took the coin Kevin Nash made famous "Vanilla Midget" to heart and actually applied it to himself and went from being a great Wrestler to an even greater Character that the fans connected with so much. Loves how he won against Brock as well since he's the only Face that could win the title through chearunv which made sense. 2nd Grade was truly pleasant.

Both men nearly lost their careers due to drugs and alcohol, but within their returns they both became successful, Eddie winning the WWE title with 2 years returning to the WWE, Tapia winning the WBO Jr. Bantamweight title with 8 months of returning to Boxing It was really amazing to watch both men win their belts, and beating the odds

I started watching wrestling couple of weeks after, when Eddie was still Champion. I fell in love with him. He just had Charisma beyond normal levels. One day at school, when me and my friends met, they told me Eddie died. I didn't believe it, I just couldn't. And in childish ignorance I said, yeah and Rey became an Angel or what? But coming home I read the news myself. I was devestated. He and Batista had some Tag matches and they both had that Lie, Cheat, Steal smile going. So I searched for that image and printed it out 6 A4 Sites. Put together into one giant picture. Never ever was I so hyped for another wrestler. RIP Latino Heat
