Fun Fact: the actress who played the girl worried about her cat was Elizabeth Moss in her first acting roll. With Mila Kunis appearing in Santa with Muscles, Hulk Hogan movies are inadvertently responsible for starting the careers of two of the most popular actresses of the 21st century. Let that sink in.
@markv12746 ай бұрын
How amusing, you think that Mila Kunis is one of "the most popular actresses of the 21st century". Let's take a look through her filmography from the past decade. How many of these have *you* seen? 'The Angriest Man In Brooklyn' (2014). Made less than one million dollars *worldwide.* 'Annie' (2014). It's the most well-known film she's been in since 2014 (and only drew so much attention because it was a remake of a popular classic), and even then she only has a minor role buried well down in the credits. 'Hell and Back' (2015). It made less than $200,000 *worldwide.* 'Jupiter Ascending' (2015). Here is a grossly overly budgeted flop that lost money at the box office. 'Bad Moms' (2016). Made money, yet I have never had someone tell me they've seen this film. 'A Bad Moms Christmas' (2017) See above. 'The Spy Who Dumped Me' (2018). 'Four Good Days' (2020). Took less than a million dollars *worldwide.* 'Breaking News In Yuba County' (2021). Took less than $200,000 *worldwide.* 'Luckiest Girl Alive' (2022). Made practically zero money, seems to have been shoved onto a streaming service. That's not an acting resume, that's a stocktake list for the DVD five-for-a-dollar bargain bin at your local discount store. By the way, MK had several roles before 'Santa With Muscles'. As for Elizabeth Moss, she's Elizabeth Moss, not Julia Roberts or Angelina Jolie. Stop being silly.

I am being completely honest when I say this: Suburban Commando is a comedy masterpiece. No, I have not been drinking.

Former WWF and WCW superstar Ed Leslie (Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake) was used as one of the stuntmen in the movie.

The nostalgia alone makes me love this movie and now my kids love it to. Yea it's cheesy and Hogan definitely ain't Arnie, but c'mon man this was fun!

Ok. You got me. "The iCock Shuffle" I laughed so hard at that. Well played.

Zane, is there a way to request a movie for you to review? Arguably, Hogan's "best movie" is Mr. Nanny. BTW, RIP Sherman Helmsley.

Hulk Hogan has same acting range as his Wrestling Buddy. How he managed to land so many roles is beyond me.

Well, this is the legit 30th anniversary of this film, so why not?
@mgb46923 жыл бұрын
Released on Oct 4 1991, exactly eight years before Vince Russo was hired by WCW and 28 before Smackdown debuted on FOX. Dammit I knew it was all connected!😂

@@mgb4692 Well, Z-Man still has the following Cunt Hogan movies left to review: Mr. Nanny (featuring a ton of wrestler cameos, and the very first appearance of Ed Leslie as The Zodiac) Assault on Devil's Island (the film that got its 4.2 rating thanks to WCW tacking on the contract signing for Hogan/Sting at Starrcade 1997, and also stars Rocky and Predator star Carl Weathers, Karate Kid star Martin Kove, the late great Trevor Goddard a.k.a. Kano from the 1995 Mortal Kombat film, and late 90's Channel 5 UK legend Shannon Tweed Simmons a.k.a. "Sable if she had a personality") The Ultimate Weapon McCinsey's Island (which also stars The Big Show and Robert Vaughn of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Superman 3 fame) 3 Ninjas: High Noon on Mega Mountain Assault on Death Mountain (the 1999 sequel to Assault on Devil's Island, and also features the YEH-TAY!) When Zane does review Assault on Devil's Island, I hope the thumbnail is Hogan vs. Kano.

Hey Secret of the Ooze is still good, not as good as the first. 3 is where it fell off into Turtle shit.
@rowdycmoore3 жыл бұрын
I actually liked Secret Of The Ooze the best because it did feel closer to the style of the 80s cartoons.

When this video basically started with Hogan being described as a 'giant blonde hotdog', I knew it would be a good one LMAO xD

It's amazing how many hand me down Arnold scripts they're are and that both Hogan and Dwayne ended up being suckered into eventually making them.
@djpegao3 жыл бұрын
The thing is that Dwayne got a little less shittier scripts and has waaaaaaaaaay more charisma than HH, so he could kinda make it work.
@jonathancampbell52313 жыл бұрын
Arnold said that he read the script for "Stop! Or My Mon Will Shoot!" and instantly thought it was crap, but knew that if he feigned interest in it for a while then Stallone would be offered it and would immediately take it just to one up Arnold- it worked, and S!OMMWS is usually considered the worst movie Stallone ever made.
@mgb46923 жыл бұрын
But weren't Stop and Kindergarten Cop more or less the same movie? So I don't think Arnie exactly won anything there (though he did have T2 on deck)
@djpegao3 жыл бұрын
@@mgb4692 well, there's a reason why everyone can remember Kindergarten Cop and not S! OMMWS
@mgb46923 жыл бұрын
Well yeah,look at what Arnie had bookending it, Total Recall and T2 (though Sly did have Cliffhanger and Demolition Man on the way after Stop!)
