I don't think so. The reason why it is called "the big four" is because those are their 4 longest on going PPVs and the 4 that define and help and shaped the company. Money in the bank haven't lasted nearly as long as those 4 PPVs to be considered in "the big 4" in my opinion

+samster GuNsMoKe I agree and in my opinion Survivor Series really doesn't have any drawing power anymore seeing as the setup of matches that it was based on it's something of a regularity on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown respectively. now back in the eighties before Monday Night Raw when it was just Saturday morning TV squash matches the opportunity of seeing every wrestler in the company competing on one card was enough of a draw on its own that titles didn't even need to be on the line unfortunately that's something of a relic now in days.

Couple of points you didn't mentioned: John Cena was shouting his spots, way louder than usual, I caught 4-5 spots he called. First time Roman Reigns lost clean in a singles match after Shield breaking up (maybe even after debuting to the main roster), Titus' oldest son slapping Rusev's titty and Rusev just ignoring it, Alberto Del Rio rumored to have gotten injured when he and Cesaro got thrown off the ladder.

My favorite thing about this ppv is that is showed people climbing out of the pit that is the wwe booking and becoming relevant again. Rusev is finally on his way back to a good undercard monster. And Ambrose, after the years of him being swept aside for the other members of the Shield, for him to win the big one really made me happy

The reason New Day is still the champs is the same reason why Nikki Bella was the Diva's Champ for so long. The higher-ups was someone more current to be known as the longest reigning champion/s. London/Kendrik were champs for just about a year. They'll keep the titles on New Day until a week or so after that and THEN change the titleholders.

Finally, a PPV that seemed to affect real change in the status quo. Natalya turns heel. A small but useful change to remedy the lack of heels in the women's division. Dean wins Money In The Bank and cashes in to win the world title. We have a fresh champ and three thoroughly established, young, main event stars as Ambrose finally breaks through the glass ceiling. A face champion that the crowd is actually behind! AJ finally has a big PPV win, which is great because he was starting to look pretty iffy as a top guy. Seth beating Roman (clean!) is amazing because it establishes 2 things. 1: Seth is a great wrestler. He can win on his own, he doesn't need the authority. 2: Roman isn't superman. The right guy, with the right gameplan can beat him. I suddenly hate Roman a lot less. WWE needs to realize that the more that changes, the more excited the fans are. If you shakeup status quo, we want to see more.

Actually Kane won a battle royal on the Pre-Show to then challenge, and beat Chavo Guerrero for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. But technically you ar right. Kane did win a Money in the Bank contract and cashed in on the same night, at the first event, in 2010. But he did so on Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship.

i was so pissed the new day won. this was a perfect chance to take the belt off of them and keep feuds fresh. i did love the finish to the cena/styles match. it gives an actual reason for the feud to continue besides just to have a second match. zayn's face after he killed owens was priceless. you could see a "what the hell have i done?" look on his face.

Can't help but wonder if Demolition will EVER be acknowledged on WWE TV. That is one hell of an accomplishment the New Day are going for and for the previous holders of the record to be continually sandbagged is a damn shame. Demolition (Ax and Smash...let's forget about Crush please) not only deserve the recognition, but deserve a spot in the HoF as well. They were my favorite tag team (alongside the Rockers, British Bulldogs, and Hart Foundation) as a kid, they had one of the greatest themes in the history of wrestling (seriously), and I always preferred them to the kings of the no sell; LOD. Their first run after steamrolling Strikeforce is a childhood memory I'll never forget. Even though I was only 4-5 at the time.

To me MITB 2011 is still the best. Not only for the Punk vs Cena match, IMO there hasn't been a better match in WWE has had since that one, but also for the for the matches before it. The smackdown money in the bank match was one of the best MITB matches I have ever seen, easily top 3, and established Daniel Bryan, which was awesome because Punk and Bryan both had huge moments on this night. The Raw MITB was good as well, and the Orton vs Christian match, even though it wasn't as good as some of their other matches, was still a strong title match, even with that terrible finish. Henry vs Big Show wasn't great, but it continued Henry's Hall of Pain gimmick, which was probably the best thing he did in WWE.

I don't know if this Pay Per View was good as a whole, but it had some great matches. It's definitely more of a "B" ranking for me. The Money In The Bank match was the best match of the night. Ziggler vs Corbin was the worst match of the night. The problem with this Pay Per View was that there were too many matches that took up a lot of time that weren't good. And although the larger, more important matches did take in the spotlight, the only one I enjoyed thoroughly was the Money In The Bank match. The Roman match went down like a Roman match, the Cena match for the most part went down like a Cena pay per view match. If you find Cena boring or if you find Roman boring, their matches still would have felt boring to you. The Tag Titles match went down kind of like a Smackdown main event, aside from being unpredictable the match really didn't have much to it. The Money In The Bank ladder match stole the show for me. Lots of unique things happened throughout the match, all of the performers were amazing. Del Rio and Owens were easily the MVP's of the match, but everyone put up an amazing performance. The one thing I can say that made this pay per view great, was that every single result was good. Not a single bad result. So in general. This Pay Per View is an "A" grading on paper, but as an event itself the thing is by far too damn long for me to recommend it be watched in it's entirety, and a bad ordering of matches made the first half of the event feel tedious to watch. My recommendation? Watch it on the network, skip to the Money In The Bank Ladder match, watch the event from there onward. If you're interested in the Styles vs Cena match, go ahead. But don't watch the full event.

Styles vs John Cena ended the only way it could. If Cena had won, AJ would look weak, having lost every big match of his WWE career. If AJ had gone over clean, Cena would look weak on his return. Remember, he left after a clean loss to ADR of all people. A dirty win for Styles was the best possible decision. No decisive winner, AJ gets a win and it furthers the storyline.

When you book a tag team as dominantly as the new day have been booked, how else would you take the titles away from them if not on a 4 team tag match? I really thought they'd lose the title simply because wwe could have booked any of the other three teams pinning someone from another team and winning the belts that way. New Day then get to feud for it and the new team get to prove their mettle. It'll take a long time for the wwe to push another tag team to the heights that the new day have ascended in order to make it believable that they'd drop the belt on a tag team vs tag team match, so why not do it at the four way?

They'll beat London & Kendrick's record for the WWE Tag Team Titles, but the World Tag Team Titles record is safe. It'll probably end at Summerslam, or the one-year mark, if I had to guess.

Respectfully disagree. I was BORED watching the whole thing, up until the MITB match, then got food during the US Title match, then the Main Event was great. I haven't been that bored watching a PPV in a long, long time. Could be my mood lately, but... it was boring, and the first 2hrs were horribly booked. The Owens/Sami ladder spot was great. I had just watched their ladder match from PWG and thought, "I'd love to see them do that spot tonight", then laughed at the thought.

I don't mean to blow up the comments section. But I agree with your sentiment on the MITB match.. Having that 7th guy out their, is almost a given that guys going to win. Makes the match less fun and even more predictable

If Baylor debuts soon let it be with Cena against the club. Have Kane in a match against Styles & the club attacks him injuring him. Then, Taker comes into the rivalry but he says he found an ally. At that point Baylor debuts passing the torch onto him. The match goes with Baylor picking up the win.

I think Cena and Styles should have another singles match at Battleground (which Cena will win), only because that sets up the rubber match at SummerSlam. If they have their 2nd match at SummerSlam, it means less than if it were to be their feud blow-off match. That and it increases the odds of AJ Styles winning the overall feud, seeing as how John Cena hasn't won a match at SummerSlam since 2010 and hasn't won a SINGLES match at SummerSlam since 2007. His SummerSlam record is 4-7.

HEY ZANE.. i was really hoping you would talk about how Cena was pretty much talking out LOUD and calling almost all his spots against his match with AJ. Not once i ever herd AJ call out his spots.. but for Cena it was like right in front of the Camera you can hear him out loud calling out his spots.

So strange, both me and my friends felt the crowd looked dead for so much of this event and found most of the matches underwhelming. Aj cena was good but not great and the ending really put a downer on it. And personally nothing in the ladder match seemed like a real high spot. Both world title changes were great though I think.

I feel like they should replace Survivor Series with Money in the Bank. Summer Slam is Wrestlemaina in the summer, MitB and the Royal Rumble both give guaranteed title shots. Survivor Series is an often convoluted set of big tag team matches that usually don't mean anything.
