I thought it was an amazing show. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn stole the show for me, incredible storytelling from how Kevin Owens begged Sami Zayn to stay down so he doesn't have to keep beating on him to Sami Zayn holding Kevin Owens before his 2nd helluva kick. The tag match was also incredible too, as was the shield triple threat. They need to give Woods some more time to shine he's a great worker

you're right with the Charlotte record thing HOWEVER, the divas title is currently treated differently from the women's title. Charlotte held the Divas title for 196 days so she didn't break the Divas title record thats still Nikki Bellas's Technically and then she held the Women's title for 113 days so she has the record for the new women's belt since she's the only one to hold it yet beside the new champ Sasha (excluding the lita and trish days). So yes, she has the record for being on top the female superstars division with 196+113 but TECHNICALLY Nikki Bella still holds the record for the divas belt specifically.

Actually, he would definitely put up failed spots that 'almost' caused major injuries. In fact, he puts up botches like that all the time. He held off on showing the Enzo one again mainly because the WWE were milking it for sympathy for Enzo and Cass, which was a bit sick.

Pretty sure you are wrong. First off, he's not "a part timer" he's "a big draw". And I know the fact that he's a big draw does't change the fact that he's a part timer but I do believe it's the viewpoint of the WWE. Also, Jericho's reaction to me said "man you are getting fined for that one!" But more importantly, Lesnar didn't fail a WWE drug test. We still don't know what drug is in his system, for all we know, it's not a substance that is banned by the WWE. If he's clean for his WWE match, as far as the WWE is concerned, whatever happened outside is irrelevant.

Here's what I kinda hope happens on Raw now. Steph is salty about not having the title so she introduces a new one and announces a tournament to decide who who will hold it first. The finals take place at summer slam between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (Boo), the finish is Seth is about to win when he gets clobbered from behind by triple H who reveals he's working with Roman, screws Seth and pulls a double turn. That sets up a nice feud for the rest of the year with the crowd reactions the right way around and plants the seeds for the Triple H v Seth match that they were gonna have at WM32

The reason that Charlotte's reign was not celebrated as "the longest reign" was because the WWE Women's Title is a new title with her reign beginning at WrestleMania as day 1. The Divas Title was deactivated. So, that reign ended at WrestleMania and is not added in as a continuation since WWE does not want to use that linage (for now).

When people do "finishers" such as the superkick with it not finishing people, I see it more along the lines of "yeah sure, they can do the move, but only HBK does it good enough to put people down. The DDT became just a standard move, but when Jake the Snake did it, you did NOT get back up. Same with any other move. Whoever used it as a finisher is the best at doing that move and they know how to do it effectively. At least that's how the narrative in my mind goes

At the actual event before Becky's match they started to play the experts panel on the screen so I feel a lot of people thought there was going to be a brief intermission(my self included) when in reality it only lasted a few minutes. Because of that a lot of people got up. I ran back when I slightly heard Becky's entrance.

I thought the same exact thing about Mojo running out and then doing nothing. I was like "Why are you not hitting Rusev?" Either he should have tackled him immediately or Rusev should have rolled out before Mojo got in. When I watch Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens wrestle I get the feeling that they trust eachother so much that they're willing to do big spots with eachother anywhere at any time and when they wrestle they make it look so real yet so effortless. Like the brainbuster on the apron and the super kick to counter the diving DDT...that was timed so perfectly. And the cannonball that immediately followed looked great because it looked like Zayn colided with the post. But then to follow that match with Lynch vs Natalia made no sense because it sucked the excitement level down. No match really had a chance to follow it but if they had opened the show strong with the Wyatts vs New Day and then do Lynch vs Nattie and saved Sasha Banks and Bailey until after Zayn vs Owens, I think the crowd and me and people at home would have maintained our enthusiasm and it probably would have carried through all the way to the main event.

The title remaining on Smackdown was the most likely outcome, IMO. One of my big gripes about the breakdown of the titles in the draft was you had 3 titles on Raw (4 if you include the forthcoming Cruiserweight title) and 2 on Smackdown, and as you (and a lot of other places) brought up in the draft review, Raw just ended up with what seems like a better roster overall. One of the few things that Smackdown had going for it was that it was holding THE big title, and if it lost that, then what? About the only other option that didn't leave Smackdown looking like the B show (again) would be if there was another double pin between Dean and one of the two Raw guys, thus leading to some fights over who's the "true" champion and eventually both shows making their own championship belts. This is a possible angle for Summer Slam, but that's for a month from now.

I think the #WWEDraft was a good idea, and everyone complains about something here and there. It should be a good change, with both #RAW and #SmackDownLIVE. When they were all one show there was so much talent that didn't get to work or was put on the shelf in favor of others. This brand extension will give others a place to shine.

I'm interested to see how they handle the title in the new brand extension. I believe you can only have one champion. If you try and have two, one will inevitably be seen as the lesser title. In the early days of the previous brand split the champ would travel between both shows. Maybe this time have a Raw challenger one month and a Smackdown challenger the next, with the 'off' month for both being about becoming number one contender. It would keep the main events fresh but would be problematic building PPV's when champion and challenger are on separate shows. I'm just snowballing ideas here of course...

Owens vs Zayn completely blew my mind. I felt like I was watching an old El Genrico vs Kevin Steen match. Zayn scared the shit out of me with that moonsault off the ropes, that was crazy. I really hope Owens demands a trade to Smackdown, there needs to be a little more star power for Smackdown. Bayley getting her big pop nearly teared me up, no joke. I was so happy for her, she deserved it. Can't wait to see her on the main roster full time. Ambrose winning was another shocker. Could of swore Rollins would of finished him off and a new World Championship would be introduced for Smackdown as well. The super kick to became super cool to use because of The Young Bucks, its gets such a great pop from those 2 doing it now it seems like the trendy thing to do now. But great wins for Nattie, The Wyatts, Cena Enzo & Cass. The U.S. & I.C. titles are turning into jokes again. The booking really needs to step it up for those 2 title bouts. Those 2 matches were a complete joke to me, just terrible silly finishes.

At least Tyler Breeze and Fandango have something good going Sasha Banks/Bayley vs Charlotte/Dana Brooke: Bayley's only appearance on the main roster until after Summerslam. Good Match. Sasha vs Charlotte at Summerslam The New Day vs The Wyatt Family: The Wyatts deserve the victory because of being split up. Xavier Woods needs to have more ring time, he can do well in the midcard. Rusev vs Ryder: Okay match, Ryder put off a lot of offense but Rusev is becoming stronger and better. RIP Mojo Rawley. Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens: MOTY candidate. Zayn gets redemption and hope he becomes a top contender for US Title. Owens on the other hand, doesn't look weak, maybe a contender for 2nd world title. Great Match. Becky Lynch vs Natalya: Pee break match, the trouble of being after Zayn vs Owens. Miz/Young: BS way to end the match. A double countout??? Work on Darren Young's gimmick and you have a midcard champion. Cena/Enzo & Cass vs The Club: The New Era was showcased throughout the match. Anderson and Gallows looked strong as ever, contenders for tag team championship. Enzo and Cass were put over very good. AJ vs Cena III at Summerslam and AJ wins The Highlight Reel w/ Randy Orton: "No enhancement needed" end of story The Shield triple threat: Great match. Ambrose wins, deserves it. Roman Reigns got booed throughout the match, even when he entered the ring. Seth Rollins is not weak. SD Live has the champion but Raw will create a new title. Overall show: 8.0/10

No Brian, this is how it works: Charotte defeats Nikki for the title at Night of Champions 2015 and vacates it at Wrestlemania 32, which means the Divas title is vacated and Charlotte is the champ. Nikki won the title in November 2014 and lost it at September 2015, thats around 10 months. Charlotte won the title in September 2015 and vacated it at April 2016, thats around 8 months. Then the Divas title is vacated and Charlotte is the last champ bit not the one with the longest reign.

It was mentioned on the last episode of NXT that Bayley still has a rematch clause in her contract that she has not cashed in yet on the current NXT Women's champ Asuka. This might be one reason as to why Bayley has not been drafted yet to the main roster. Also, this is not the first time an active NXT roster member went back and forth from NXT and the main roster (Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn both did this).

My friend said the same thing. I think when Xavier saved Kofi from the Sister Abigail they was counted as a tag since they made physical contact. Yea it wasnt done in the corner but that's the only "logical" reason I can think of.

I didn't see the first time but on a second viewing there was a tag made in the corner between Kofi and Xavier but it was not that clear because the camera was on it for less than a second, but they could have made it easier for us to see the tag, that is why I got confused.

Maybe neither has to turn, at least until after the team has been together for a while. Have some sort of tag team tournament (maybe a vacant tag title tourni), and have Zayn & Owens put together as a team, and if they turn on each other, they're both suspended. They win their matches up to the semifinals, where they're beat by Anderson & Gallows. They stay together, & Owens slowly starts a face turn, becoming a tweener for now.

I was thinking about this when watching the show. What about Cesaro? He wanted a draft to Smackdown, so why don't they occasionally put on matches that gives the winner a choice if they want to be drafted? They wouldn't happen often, but I think it would add an interesting dynamic. The idea is there but maybe my phrasing was a little bit shaky. Please let me know what you think!

Guy who was there live here, so few of us cared about the Becky Lynch match that we more or less unanimously agreed it was the intermission. I heard Natalya's music hit after the win as I purchased a warm Gatorade as they had ran out of ice. We had pretty much detiremined that we would leave during it no matter when it was on(we were praying for it to be the first match so we could hopefully survive the merch lines). Verizon Center was VASTLY under prepared for the event, countless shops and carts unmanned and thus inoperable.

If you look up the current WWE Women's Championship, Charlotte is the first ever titleholder, despite there being a WWE Women's Championship in the past. The Diva's title was not renamed, it was retired and a new belt awarded to Charlotte at WM. So she technically did not break Nikki Bella's record, since that was the Diva's title. However Charlotte is breaking her own record for longest WWE Women's Championship every day she holds it!

My interpretation is that it shows that Shawn was strong. He perfected the superkick to the point where he could finish people off with it, whereas all these guys haven't got it to that level and their superkick isn't as good as Shawns.

i consider the superkick the same way i see the ddt. once it was a finsher not its a breath break as the guy lay on the mat and consider what going on in the life before they take the next finisher. I mean guys are no selling a ton of moves now .. case in point roman no selling the turn buckle powerbomb to hit his superman punch so he could take dean dirty deeds..
