12:36 - I just learned today by looking it up that after getting canned by the WWF in early 2001, Road Dogg showed up backstage at WCW looking for a job... on _March 26,_ the day of the last Nitro. Apparently he had no idea the WWF had bought the company 3 days prior.

Armageddon was legit the biggest PPV of 2000. Back then wrestlemania was a lot less hype, and the other PPVs of the year could be and often were much bigger and better than wrestlemania. It was at X7 they began this big hype train of "omg it's the Superbowl/world series of wrestling" and having black and white shots of Freddie Blassie and Gorilla Monsoon etc. And after 20 years of that leading up till today, it's made wrestlemania this absolutely awesome amazing giant event that is the hypest moment of my year every year. But it's come at the cost of every other PPV now feeling no bigger than a Raw or Smackdown. They're all throwaway, even ones like Summerslam. Well all of them except royal rumble, but that's mainly hype because it's directly connected to wrestlemania so it absorbs that hype. But in 2000 both Armageddon and Backlash felt much bigger than Wrestlemania that year. I think it's a shame. It's definitely a good thing that wrestlemania feels so epic now, but I wish the other PPVs didn't feel so throwaway The Hell in a Cell with 6 men inside felt like the absolute biggest match I'd ever seen in my life. The 2 men HIAC matches already were huge deals but this one was gonna be the biggest match I'd ever see. And it was, until a couple years later when Hogan v Rock happened. But yeah to 10 year old me, Armageddon 2000 was hands down my favourite PPV

Its a simple concept in kayfabe...... Heel Vince had his favoured guys that he wanted on top, but in a 6 man HIAC with all his top stars; if they all got hurt at once there'd be no main enters to promote the following month.

Hell in a Cell, Armageddon 2000. Still up there as the greatest match I've ever watched as a rabid 9 year old WWF fan. The image of SCSA dragging HHH's face on the cell walls, bloody and iconic.

its tied with ecws born to be wireds no rope barbed wire match between sabu and terry funk for the ecw world championship on august 9th 1997 as my all time favourite hardcore style match the wwf armageddon 2000 6 way hell in a cell for the wwf title between HHH, Rikishi, Kurt angle (Champion), Undertaker, The Rock And "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on sunday december 10th 2000, though one of my favourite non hardcore matches has to be the four way dance at ecw heatwave 2000 july 2000 between little guido, psychosis, tajiri and i can't remember the 4th guy thats such a match check it out its a classic
