2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. She may simply be a prodigal. Getting her to testify against her salvation is dangerous dangerous territory. When she reached the point where she knew, but would not utter, the sentence of Hell, I would have told her the Gospel and brought it to mind. Beware making prodigals stumble and completely fall, God really doesn't like that. You could have been dangerously close to making her renounce her salvation...

”And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.“ John 6:39 ESV It seems quite clear that she had no salvation by her lack of understanding of the gospel and the “he, she, it” line that demonstrates that she doesn’t know who God is. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and as Jesus says Himself, He will lose none of all the Father has given Him (see verse above). There is no danger of this young woman losing her salvation through verbal renouncing, firstly because it’s quite clear she has not placed her faith in Christ to save her, and even more so because Jesus Christ will not lose a single one of His sheep. It is His promise to us that we who believe will be saved. ”For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”“ John 6:40 ESV

I see theists quote bible verses all day yet never actually demonstrate that the bible is a reliable source. It's an old book written by dozens of people with a bunch of second and third hand accounts of events passed down verbally. It's a book of Chinese whispers. Simply looking it at how it was constructed should raise alarm bells regarding its ability to describe reality. Even if we disregard that and look at the claims that it makes, these fall apart under the slightest scrutiny. If we can prove one claim, who's to say whether the others are true also? I just can't wrap my head around how we're expected to believe the things in the bible under these circumstances. We would never believe anything else with such a low bar.

@@NoEvidenceForGod Do you believe Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, or Alexander the Great were real people who lived and died? We have no way of tracing their DNA to prove their existence, we don't even have a grave location for these people. All we have to go on is written (either in paper or stone) historical information. Yet, overwhelming historical consensus is that these people did walk the earth. I obviously don't have time to go into it here, but if you're genuinely curious there is a great amount of archeology to support the people and some (not all) the events in the Bible. Dig for yourself and make your own conclusion. God bless.
