Altho darts take a little time to get used to, I think the fact that a player keeps changing darts is merely a symptom of something that lies underneath. An uncertainty in that moment that makes him look for solutions in the material which often he has already produced results with before, making it a mind problem and not a material one. A player who is mentally in exactly the right spot confidence wise does not start questioning the material he threw great with before
