On June 11, 2021, Wrigley Field returned to 100% capacity. This feature follows the stories of Cubs manager David Ross, season ticket holder Carol Haddon, guest services ambassador Margie Genovese and Murphy's GM Freddy Fagenholz. They share what 2020 and the pandemic season was like for them and their emotions ahead of Wrigley Field and the neighborhood surrounding the ballpark returning to full capacity.
"They are the reason why we come out and play this game. When they are rooting us on and cheering, you feel like you've got 40,000 people that have got your back. They're pulling for you, they're in the moments with you, they're in every pitch and grinding. Once you experience this game even at its highest level without fans, you realize how important fans are really fast." - David Ross
The first weekend back at full capacity, the Cubs swept the rival Cardinals in front of the best fans in baseball.
