I do love that ZRC... Been wanting an original 60's piece for some time.

I love that ZRC GF300, especially the bracelet. Reminds me of the Olongapo bracelets during Vietnam, worn especially by navy divers. Would love to see another strap video, with more of the obscure and non traditional straps and bracelets.

Love the VCs. Barring some kind of windfall I'll probably never own one, but they're definitely fun to look at!

The ZRC is a good looking piece and I like the premise too. The AP is not an attractive piece, and the VCs are what we have come to expect although not my thing. I am glad to see timex doing this, so interested in fact that I bought one (not worn it yet so can’t comment) to try it out. I’m sorry to see people deriding Chinese movements, Chinese straps and even a ladies movement - I wasn’t aware that any manufacturer assigned gender to their movements. The originals can be found easily but they are poor quality, badly made movements that can’t be serviced properly because they’re riveted together - mostly made in the Hamilton road plant in Tayside not in the US. This is clearly a grab at the vintage resurgence by Timex, and perhaps a little overpriced but I think it’s fantastic. A cheap mainstream maker putting out a handwinder for the masses to introduce themselves to mechanical movements with the evocative responsibility of having to wind it every day. Give them a break and don’t be such so snobby.

I actually really like the layout of the VC, too bad I don't really enjoy precious metal watches.

actually the vintage marlins in good condition these days are a little more than 30 or 40 pounds! not much more but at least at a similar price point to the re-issue

You don't service the Timex, you just change the movement wenn time comes

I like the ZRC project. Very nice piece. What I didn't like at all is that Audemars Piguet chronograph. What an ugly piece. You need to carry a magnifying glass to be able to read those sub-dials.

love the ZRC , a true tool watch in every sense , The Timex reissue leaves me a little cold , i don't see the point of it at all , sure an original model is a good talking point for a little nostalgia but a new version with a Chinese ladies movement surrounded by a plastic doughnut , no thanks . the last Vacheron with an entire paragraph for a name is gorgeous , is it a extreme amount of money for a watch?..... oh yeh , would i buy one if i could afford one ?.....hell yeh ,

Hrm, It was my understanding that those old Timex M24 and M25 movements in vintage Timex Marlins are not easily serviceable with a number of discontinued plastic parts that forces watchmakers to look for suitable donor parts. That VC Overseas Dual time is amazing but I will never be able to afford one.
