Shut Up and Play the Hits is one of my absolute favourite films, and the voiceover ofJames nervously saying to the crowd "I hope it's OK, I'm wearing- I'm wearing my dad's watch" right before the band launches into their last song has always stuck with me, so when I heard you say "James Murphy" my immediate thought was "wait, surely not *that* James Murphy?", and then when you confirmed, I could barely believe it. Hearing the full backstory of the watch makes me want to see the movie again.
