🎯 Key points for quick navigation: 00:28 *📊 Power BI reports can visualize data from various sources, including SharePoint lists for tracking issues.* 01:53 *🔄 Power BI datasets are read-only, necessitating Power Apps for write-back operations like CRUD actions on SharePoint lists.* 04:24 *📱 Power Apps Visual in Power BI allows creating custom apps directly linked to Power BI data, enabling dynamic data interactions.* 07:47 *🎛️ Power Apps integrated with Power BI respects filters applied in Power BI visuals, ensuring synchronized data views.* 10:49 *🛠️ Power Apps can perform CRUD operations directly on data sources like SharePoint lists connected via Power BI.* 14:19 *🔄 Data refresh in Power BI is required to reflect changes made via Power Apps on SharePoint lists, especially in import query mode.* 16:10 *🗑️ Deleting records from SharePoint lists via Power Apps requires manual refresh in Power BI to reflect the changes.* 19:30 *🔄 For near real-time updates, use Power BI with Direct Query mode and Power Apps to update data dynamically.* 23:35 *🔄 Use `Power BI Integration.Refresh` function in Power Apps to dynamically refresh Power BI visuals after data updates for a real-time data experience.* Made with HARPA AI

Hi Reza, Thank You so much for this nice and easy tutorial :) I'm able to make my very 1st Power App visual in my PBI, 100% from your help!! I encountered just 1 small issue when using LookUp function between Gallery1's selected ID to match with my Screen 2's Form's list of IDs. There are 9000+ IDs in the list to search and match but only the first/top 2000 IDs match well between the 2 screens. May I learn from you how to bypass the 2000 records limit? I tried with alternative functions such as First, Filter and StartsWith to replace LookUp but they also can't function over the 2000th record to load the data in the form to update. Many thanks in advance.

Hi sir, thanks for this tutorial. Although the PBI data I am trying to work on comes from a built in Table from Visualization chart where data columns come from different tables and source files, and also with a 'new measurement' data. I see in this tutorial the data conveniently comes from just one table/source file. Anyway you can make a video with this more complex case?

Hi Reza, thanks for the excellent video! I've made a successful Power BI report with a Power Apps Visual using this method. I now want to use Power Apps Solutions in order to deploy the whole solution from my Dev environment to Test. I add both the Power BI report and Power App that is used in the Power Apps Visual to a Solution. When I import that Solution into my Test environment, however, the Power Apps Visual still uses the Power App that is on the Dev environment. How can I implement Power Apps Solutions or Pipelines when dealing with a Power BI using a Power Apps Visual, please?

Hi Reza, appreciate the thorough video. I would like to eliminate the gallery step and just have the dataverse form - so when I click on a record in my power bi table the dataverse form picks up the ID in a new or edit mode. I have been able to do this successfully with my source as a sharepoint list but when following the same steps for a dataverse source, it's not working. Do you have any videos showing this? For me, the gallery is just an extra step, but now I'm wondering if it's a necessary step to get the form to work with dataverse sources. thank you!

Question: in order to create the new app in Power Apps using the visual in the Power BI report, do you need to have certain level of licensing on the Power Apps side? I am following all the steps you mentioned, but when creating the new app in Power Apps (coming from the Power BI report), the data points don't carry over the Power Apps canvas.
@RezaDorrani

Data points should carry over. If you are able to get to power apps, then you do have the license. I’m not sure why your data points are not getting carried over though.

Wouldn't utilizing the PowerBIIntegration.Refresh() command constitute a manual refresh and therefore not count towards that total?
