Hello Seda, new to your channel. My name is Susy, so I’m interested in learning to be a screenwriter but I’m concerned if it’s even worth it after watching this video. Do you think in your opinion someone like me who will be 46 this year can still be a screenwriter or is it too late to try? I’m tired of working in corporate and it’s always been my dream to write for movies and now that my kids are all grown up, I thought what better time to start. So how did you get started? Did you go to college? Any recommendations. Any recommendations on books to read? Maybe do a video on this topic? I’m sorry that there is a lot of greed in this world and sorry to hear the frustration what artists are going through. Hopefully things get better in the future. I hope you made it to the end of this video where I talk about the indie world thriving and genuine artists & producers making amazing projects! There is hope✨ I got started by doing my MFA in Screenwriting in Los Angeles, but not everyone goes to film school. It has advantages and disadvantages, which I’ll make an episode about very soon. I’ll also make an episode about how to get started on your screenwriting journey, thank you so much for the inspiration! But for now, I suggest reading the book Blake Snyder’s Save the Cat. It’s a great one for beginners. You can start by watching the example movies in that book and analyzing the movies. I also have a playlist called “Screenwriting Tips” that’s great for learning. I’ll do more, and I’m so happy to have you here. Let’s do this!!! 💪🏼💖
