Hi y'all! I'm Rachel, a 22-year-old writer from Toronto. I've been writing for nine years and hold a BA in creative writing (with specialties in fiction and poetry). On my channel, rachel writes, I document my writing journey and try to post once a week (usually on Fridays).

Please, please, pleaseeee do a video on novella writing!! I struggle to write full length novels and short stories don’t give me enough room, so I really think novellas would be my chosen form if I understood how to write them💕💕

I need Apple Notes to be a standard for creatives who decide to write and world building. Been writing in and expanding my world in apple notes. The backlinking is an amazing tool to create a world index!

Notes app girlies rise up!!! in all seriousness tho like I think because its not a ''professional'' writing program I just end up writing more on it then any google docs I have ever type in.

Having that printed copy of the notes documents would be so neat! And you know you can do it 'cause you've done bookbinding before, right? I'm trying to set a daily-ish word count goal of 100 words on any project-- the actual word count is less important than training the discipline to sit down and work consistently. I'm still a little nervous about trudging ahead on my novel when the outline isn't as robust as I'd like, but I'm starting to think I can pull off pantsing some of it-- often I discover ideas as I'm working through the actual writing, so perhaps the way out is through!

I would love to see a video on novella writing! When I started writing longer stories, they were originally novellas (about 21K) and my longest novella was about 39.5K. I didn’t think I could write novels. I think typically novellas are between 17.5K and 40K. Excited to know more about LOST GODS!
