Writing about Cultural Change (Kazuo Ishiguro)

Pick the brain of acclaimed Japanese-British author Kazuo Ishiguro whose novel "The Remains of the Day" won the Booker Prize for Best Fiction in 1989. Indeed. Time is running out, day by day. The individual has one fewer days to become the idealized self. At some point, there simply isn't enough days to make that journey. The result is an embittered elderly. Life is a race against time to die truly fulfilled.

One of my favorite authors/celebtities/role models wish I could meet in real life. So far I've met Venessa Redgrave, Ashley Judd, George Clooney, Chelsea Clinton, Kofi Annan, Avril Lavigne, Anastasia, Tim Mcgraw, some comedians and a few local sci-fi and fiction writers and independent filmmakers in my hometown.
