Writing reference letters for students

This is a video for graduate student thesis supervisors or any academic writing a reference letter for a student. In the video we discuss planning and drafting the letter including ideas for content. We also discuss research on gender and racial bias in reference letters and offer suggestions on how to avoif this. This is an introductory video and others may have additional suggestions so please add these in the comments.
