Useful points, sir. Reminded me of my old science lessons- phenotypes, genotypes... Writing in science is easy and straightforward but to get that results you spend half of your life in the labs. Salute science students with children and families. Moving from science to social sciences, researching on how to teach science was interesting and it is fun to interact with children but the writing part is exhausting. I struggled a lot initially to write. As a child I loved science as it required understanding, writing in my own words, drawing and no need to remember dates, people, battles.... as in History. Academic writing needs a lot of reading, regular writing and a lot of thinking. Extremely hard when multitasking.
