As a long time guitar player and writer, who has been in a rut for like a decade, this is so inspiring to watch and listen to! I have to admit, I think the biggest hurdle for me is being completely overwhelmed by all the software and specialized knowledge to use them properly. I end up avoiding recording altogether as a result, paralysis by analysis kind of thing. Recently started learning Reaper and EZD3 and the learning curve is steep, wish I never took a hiatus because I am worried I'll never have the time to get proficient at everything. Life got busy and I have way too many interests to dedicate myself to music the way I did when I was in my early 20's. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant! Music is life!
