I think writer writes themselves into a whole not just new authors so you’re on the right track and it’s great that you went back to your outline you’re saving yourself so much time in the long run. I finished the final draft of my first novel. It’s a sci-fi. I’m now working on my second novel. A light sci-fi contemporary romance. I have a 8 thousand words in my outline and I’m hoping to fast draft this one 🤓.

my best friend and I have been writing a story together for about 2 years now. We have around 10,000 words. I know that's not much, but I'm hoping to write more this summer. I also have this idea for a story. I made a small outline so I think I'll start that soon. Loved this vlog by the way!💗✨

For me, I canNOT do more than a loose outline. I'm a plantser through and through, haha! Just enough plotting to keep me on the right track, and then the rest is up to my little pantsing heart! But I can totally see how a super detailed outline can help someone, and I really hope it works for you!

You're so lucky you found yourself making mistakes early on because I am forty seven thousand words into my first draft and have written myself into multiple corners! But I'm working on getting myself out 😂

Hello from Florida🌴🌻! I fell in love with your story cankori! I notice you took it off Wattpad? Will you be posting the story there anymore? I love learning about the characters ambitious and secrets towards the last chapter you put there! I really can't wait to read more of their journeys! 🌴

I love morally gray characters because they feel more real, which I think is why I loved Daisy so much I feel like I should eventually read Evelyn Hugo haha! Would you recommend it on audiobook or physical copy?
@NayaReadsandSmiles5 жыл бұрын
Yesss!!! Me too! I would recommend you to physically read Evelyn!! I think the format is better read!!❤️❤️❤️

I know how you feel about backing yourself into a writer's corner. I'll be writing and just typing along with the creative muse in my head and then later I'm like wait WHAT??? What did I just do? Sometimes though the characters just steer things along unexpectedly and I'm curious to see what they have to say. Then I have to think whether I should stay on this new route or if I need to delete it. I sit and think, if all of this just happened...should it? But I just let things flow even if I'm not sure because as frustrating as it can sometimes seem initially because it wasn't planned sometimes it actually turns out to be an unexpected gem. Happy writing and reading!!📚📝

I also watched The Dirt around the same time I listened to Daisy Jones and thought they were really similar as far as the way rockstars live! It's insane.

I have a really important question for you Naya, am writing a book too, with queer characters, and it is a risk, if it comes to my family reading it, how does one write and publish it on a website like wattpad and stay unknown to them with my work? I am an Indian muslim and I dont want to reveal too much, unless you are interested to help. All the best for your writing!

Taylor Jenkins reid. I normally dont read contemporary or books with heavy romance in them. But her books are so amazing. I though. Love Daisy a tad bit ( and I mean a small tad. Lol) better than Evelyn. But I think it's because I love music to my core and i love the 70'/80's era. I want to read the rest of her backlist works now.

I recently finished the daisy jones audiobook and I didn’t really like it! I gave it 3/5 stars which is low for me :/
@sharlizedsouza33075 жыл бұрын
I really did not like Daisy Jones... Ik how a lot of people compare Daisy and Evelyn but just like no... Evelyn had a proper dynamic and character arc whereas Daisy was just. .... there.... Evelyn was not a good person but there was this type of maturity and consciousness to what she was doing, whereas Daisy was more of a spoilt kid who threw a fit whenever she didn't get a lollipop. Don't start me on the other characters. I'm glad u liked the book tho
