I also always brainstorm and take notes by hand! I have a notebook for each project and that is where the majority of my notes go, so everything is obviously in order that way. I also section off the notebook so there's a section for general brainstorming/worldbuilding (although i write contemporary books, so worldbuilding isn't as relevant for me), characters, and then for revisions. For any loose leaf paper notes, I try to always note down what draft it's for, but actually dating it could also be helpful! hope this helps in some way! loved the vlog

For physical notes, I usally writie everything in a designated notebook. I have either a folder or file folder for thr loose stuff. I'm too lazy to hole punch papers to put it all in a binder but I've considered that too. My digital notes aren't organized or flushed out and has a page in notion.

Honestly, my notes are always a combination of physical and Scrivener notes (just whatever’s more handy). I’m trying to get myself into the habit of making all my notes digital/on Scrivener, as I’ve been writing there more. Idk. Especially with older projects (Fantasy Duology), my notes are a little bit of everywhere: notebooks, scraps of paper, Scrivener, still random thoughts floating around in my head… And I need to digitize it all so it’s all in one spot. 😅

I also had this problem of my notes not being organized especially since o was writing in a composition notebook but I had to jot everything in google docs with sections and headings of characters and outline and a little of world building and questions I have still I’ll probably going to print it out though cause I like to see things in a notebook 😂I need like you said a story bible. With government and prison systems idk how anyone figure that out like the Harry potter and divergent series it’s amazing do you prefer scrivener over google docs ?

I'm still getting used to scrivener so it's hard to make a fair judgment! scrivener has a ton of organization and stuff though!
