ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
We, Nicholas Clark and Marlon Watts started this clothing brand with 12 t-shirts ($120). We turned those t-shirts into an apparel empire. After graduating college, we decided to step into our clothing company full-time. We created this KZbin channel to show the journey of building a brand. We create behind-the-scenes vlogs so you can see the life behind running a successful clothing brand. We also feature other clothing lines, streetwear brands, or any entrepreneur looking to create a clothing brand startup business.

Data Retention is everything. I like how he was talking about strategically collecting data by getting the phone number first, email next and name last.

This was one of the best interviews I've seen on the channel. Greatest lesson is to always be in a place of learning, through books etc... His last comment was the true 💎 learning from the professor. It's ok to go to KZbin University but if you want to really grow you have to invest in yourself. Everyone can develop from mentorship. That's why I love the Inner Circle. You guys (Marlon & Nick) show up in major ways... You're appreciated...

Learning how to collect data beforehand was so crucial to the foundation of your business. Also sending out Holiday sales for any Holidays. Getting the phone number first, then email, then the name. WOw❤

The experience you would like in a store should be the same experience online. When you have a website gather phone number then the email addresses. Also, look up national holidays that correlate with your brand. As a business gather birthdays and send a code. When you clock out then clock in, don’t graduate and stop, never get comfortable. Use you online apps or platforms to get educated on business. Have knowledge on CRMs. Join a book club, turn your business from good to great. You need a true professor. Thanks for the nuggets!!!!!

Yoooo he was dropping gems! I really am understanding more about the importance of having that email and texting list to connect more to the customers. Definitely want to implement asking for numbers and birthdays to have a more friendly feel towards the business.

Great video as always. Question though. I see you guys cover a lot about ways to dominate the online space with your clothing brand, which is the ultimate goal for any brand. I’m still a growing brand owner but pop up shops always do well for me so I’m thinking about opening one up next august. Do you guys still suggest or recommend to open one up?

Learning the information from this interview it gives into a lot of detail. Such as collecting data I love how he put more detail in that because you can organize your business base on the data from your business to see the growth or see the decrease. Then i love how he said go down the family tree because your family could bring alot of doubt in your mind starting something or dealing with a strong cite of information you know but they believe they know more due to how old they are and etc.. And I like how you say don't be scared to send messages out if you wanna be a billioniare because that what the major companies doing!! And be more engage with your customers like tell them happy birthday or even let them know the holiday such as merry christmas to them. Because email and text list is a plus to get better on your community and your gain more then banking on just posting thinking they going to look. I love how you said your name and stuff to get more into detail with your customer to be a better customer service. And I look how he said 10 percent off or 10 dollars off. Find what your customers want I like that. So I'll say these t shirts will help especially so i can build the business on a billboard such as the t shirts will help so i can spread the message with a product if that make sense. Especially sense Im at this college!!
