I once saw a journalist say that Wikipedia is a CIA offshoot and is run out of Langley. For proof, he told how the page about Lee Harvey Oswald's rifle that was used was locked after people kept editing it. The final edit was made, the page was locked, and the coordinates of the lock is Langley. Based on all the people they label "far right", the crap they spew about climate change, etc- I don't doubt his belief one bit.

Because he is more than likely correct about a lost civilisation which has undermined the work of archeology. Well let’s be fair the lost civilisation idea has been around for centuries but Graham has pushed it to a world wide audience. As a result there are a now lot of people who never studied archeology that can tie qualified archaeologists in knots regarding the subject matter. Look at what’s happened recently, you have a qualified archeologist called flint dibble who is making archaeology a laughing stock with his tirade of insults, lies and denial. You have archaeologists completely dismissing the work of engineers regarding the megalithic structures all over the world. Graham is most certainly not 100% correct he sensationalises things to bring more attention to his work. People attack that because they are afraid of the actual content of what he is highlighting. He has his own ideas as opposed to saying this is wrong that is wrong but people again attack his possible explanations by saying he has no evidence. They grab onto his possible explanations instead of researching the things he is discussing.

@waynemyers2469Ай бұрын
"Mainstream Archaeology" is a myth created by people who know nothing about archaeology, people with alternate views of history who feel they are being ignored or opposed by those who have studied and documented actual history, Hancock is one of them. His motivation has always been to establish an absurd view of history that serves several purposes: To refute the archaeological community who rejected and continues to reject him and his theories; to establish a counter-argument that leads to an esoteric view of man and history that depends upon mythology and metaphysical concepts to explain the historical timeline despite the preponderance of evidence against it; to unseat the very people who provide him with the basic, fundamental information he uses to form his theories and to make MONEY. Without so-called "mainstream archaeology" Hancock would still be writing paperback history-porn and putting forth ideas that are indistinguishable from those of pre-Nazi racial purists and "Atlantis/Aryan origin stories". Hancock knows that the presence of a coffer in the Kings Chamber points toward a funereal purpose for the pyramid but refuses to admit it because that would destroy his ice-age narrative. That brings me to this, the final condemnation of Hancock and his acolytes: Hancock has become wealthy piggy-backing on science to sell books, he has organized tours and participated in NetFlix specials about his work, he has become wealthy off of seminars and KZbin videos and whatever else he could fabricate to bring in the dollars but there is one thing he has not done: He has not spent a dime to prove his theories. Genetics could easily be employed to trace the presence and movements of a distinct, global culture responsible for spreading civilization all over the planet but Hancock also knows that such a study could topple his delicately balanced house of cards so he ignores the idea and continues the con...Hancock is a charlatan who has been rightly rejected by the experts because his ideas have no merit, not because of a conspiracy to bury or obscure his theories. Hancock is a science-fiction writer who, lacking the imagination to produce actual compelling fictional stories fell upon the idea of turning our established history into a clusterfuck of unworkable fiction and, brilliantly, nurtured it into a cash-cow that gives no milk but made him rich.

Sphinx is not egyptian for 1 and makes no sense they claim egyptians build the pyramids and turned around a built such a disproprtioned half man half lion statue... hahaha. They found it and the pyramids buried in sand and as they moved into the area they used these as worship to the Gods they believe constructed these great temples. The sphinx was badly damaged from the catastrophe that happened and they carved their kings face on it to signify their rule in the gods land etc.

I’ve been admirer of Graham’s for over 20 years now. Even went to one of his book signing in San Francisco, where I was surprised he asked me how to spell my last name, as it’s somewhat phonetic and from not too far from where he’s from. With regard to his discussion on precessions, I understand the logic from Aries, to Taurus, but he talks about Leo, skips right over Gemini. That is my question. What historical references might we have to the age of Gemini?
@peterbrooks178129 күн бұрын

When was a spoon first defined? 🤔 would certainly be a shocker if we had them previously.
@peterbrooks17812 күн бұрын
@@CoffeeFiend1 the spoon was invented. Constellations are defined because they're abstract objects, meaning different civilizations define them in different ways. Hancock knows this because he talks about the Egyptian constellation Sah, which is made up of stars from Orion, Lepus and others.
@CoffeeFiend12 күн бұрын
@@peterbrooks1781 That's not the point though is it. The constellations are defined by 'looking like certain things'. Most of them look like specific things to such an extent that multiple cultures have independently attributed them to the same kinds of things. It's a bit like saying someone in the UK can watch a cloud and think that looks like a bird and then someone in Iraq sees a cloud and thinks wow that looks like a bird. BUT OH MY GOD how can they BOTH SAY they look like BIRDS NO WAY?!!? But yes way, because... It's not fantastical. They both have eyes, they're looking at things that have a degree of interpretation but look distinctive enough that most people tend to approximate them to the same thing. So someone "first defining" that a cloud looks like a bird, or a set of stars looks like a lion, or dildo or a comb or a dog or a cup of tea is completely pointless.
