Sam Elliot is Excellent playing Gar! Also the way he plays Gar, just makes you feel good and wishing you had him as a father/father-figure that is there for you giving wise advice, and to realize that mother’s do the wrong things for the right reasons. And the way he loves both Rusty & Rocky like his own wife and son💚🔥

My Uncle Billy has the exact same voice as Sam Elliot does. Since I was a kid I just loved hearing him talk. I am 45 now, uncle B is in his 70’s and still sounds just like him. Uncle B was a biker. Tall skinny white boy with long hair. Gar and uncle B were kinda similar. Great movie!
