I totally agree. A dyslexic has so so much to offer. LinkedIn now lists dyslexia as a plus factor, a bonus, a special skill. It is a different way of thinking and my son, a dyslexic in his 30s wouldn't have the amazing job he has, if he was not dyslexic. In a previous role he was recruited BECAUSE he was dyslexic and therefore brought a superior skill set to the company. Be proud not apologetic! 👍🏽

Well, Rob, with regards to the dyslexia, I'm a paramedic with dyslexia and I have the same attitude to you. It is what it is, its not the end of the world we just have to work harder, and I tell my students I have dyslexia, so me checking academic work is a none starter, lol. Now I know Chris is good, but right from the first video, he wasn't going to fix the doors. What a fantastic looking car, yet again, great work from boys.

Don’t worry with Don’t worry about your grammar, your reports are first rate, a total education watching your description how to strip down the a door. I had a speaker blow in my drivers door. The main agent wanted £180.00 just to look at it. I followed your instructions how to remove the door card and I replaced the defective speaker at a fraction of the main agents quote. Good on you, thank you.

In my experience, if a car has had a whack that covers more than be particular panel, then the assessor usually calls it a Cat S even though the damage is purely cosmetic. The only thing I can think here is that the crossbar inside the door has been damaged. Either way I agree that the structure of the car has not been damaged and should be a Cat N instead.

Watched your content for about 3 days now and think it’s great. Would loved to have had a punt on the M4 you did late last year. This X3 should never have seen a Cat S status but the fix was relatively simple and your family is getting a sorted car that will last many years to come. Off to watch your older stuff now until the next release 👍👍
@stevenmoran40609 ай бұрын
The damage to repair isn’t all of the reason why cars are written off. The insurer has to provide a loan car for the entire period that the car is being fixed or until write off. All parts have to be new and as you know there are massive delays on some parts so insurers have to decide which is the cheapest option for them. Also there is no requirement for the cars to be categorised at all. High value vehicles are sold at auctions like Copart without a category added to them so the sale price will be significantly higher as, once repaired it is worth normal market value. So as with this car, the assessor has to take into account the cost of the parts and labour to repair taking into account time delays on parts. From this a cesicion is made if it’s better to pay out the customer and sell the car at auction. This minimises the duration a hire car is required to be paid for and, they are not cheap either.
@samchisholm12509 ай бұрын
All of that is irrelevant to it being a cat s, what you said is valid for the car to be written off as a cat n, but it still needs to be structurally damaged to be a cat s (or should be anyway)
@sruk9 ай бұрын
Someone else just wrote a similar message from someone else’s video and it’s not 100% correct it depends on so much different stuff not everyone has courtesy car cover on their policy also it had no structural damage not all high value cars are unrecorded 90% are recorded 👍

100% with you on having a heavier lorry as it`s headaches all round! Yes, I run a 7.5 tonner for carrying my own vintage tractors and it`s brilliant. But because I am only carrying my own property and it`s not for hire or reward I can get away with lots! This would consist of having an operator`s licence, driver`s qualification for a start! I `m not sure if you step aside those by using trade plates now as rules have changed so much! Simply not worth it for something you use so little. The only way you can justify it would be to be running a full time recovery business.
