I just got the RS19 HS version and the mass is considerable. Fingers crossed, the bearings hold up. I watched a how-to on replacing them and it did not look like something I'd want to do.

@@coolhawk2003 Well, 6 months after I wrote this reply, I think the RS has grown on me. I like the power and range. But if I could buy it again, I'd probably get the HT instead of the HS. I don't need a super high top speed and would appreciate the responsiveness of the higher torque model.

@@coolhawk2003 Fine (bearings), but I don't ride through a lot of water and mine only has ~300 miles on it. It's a first batch unit, I'm pretty sure, but they have been improved, so I"ve been told, in subsequent batches.

I personally really like the idea of them making a new smaller, lighter fun wheel. Honestly, it's why I liked the S18 over the V11, it just felt smaller and more nimble and, therefore, fun to me. (I realize it's not that much smaller, but it feels noticeably smaller for whatever reason.)

You have said it very well: Not sold on the hollow motor! Right NOW i have heard about more bearing failures, water ingress or what, then i have heard in my entire 5 year Euc experience for “normal axle” motors. Beside that the hollow motor is only good for thicker motor wires, and no shims problem. Nothing else. so it is the question if its worth it..... my 2 cents.

Agreed...still have my 100v MSX from this past March and yet to upgrade. I've ridden MSP both HS/HT along with the RS. Very accurate depictions in this video, couldn't agree more that the MSX series was just "more fun"

Hollow motor bearings are no good. Quality ones are too expensive. I think they need to go back to the old style bearing like is on the Sherman. I'd love to buy an MSP HT but I dont want the RS, no way. I have a V11 and I won't ride it in any moisture because of the hollow motor. What is Gotway aka Begode's next move? Great content btw!

I don't think Begode make big step from the Msp to Rs... and i'm glad i bought msp hs :) not expensive like the RS and work really good!

Nice review on the RS even though I wish to see the review of the high torque version, but it's cool. 3:58 automatic pedal dipping. 4:25 RS gained more weight, lol 9:05 The bearing sounds like a car stuck in a snow. 12:36 to 12:41 You made a good point. I hope Gotway fixes the bearing issue as soon as possible. Now I think about it. I should have bought the Veteran Sherman instead of the RS HT. If the RS HT fails on me the first month even without pushing the wheel, then I'll sell it on Ebay.

I got RS HS for +/-1000km. I exploit it and enjoy it a lot (You can see it on my channel). No issues at all, no noises, malfunctions ecc. It goes like a beast in the city - You can overtake many scooters but is agile offroad too. Maybye Adam must wait a while more until appreciating RS as it was in MSX case - One year ago he was complaining a lot about MSX.

That's great to hear that yours has no malfunctions! Honestly that's my biggest complaint here. I really like the rs ;) a year ago i was ridimg for 6 or less or so, I was a noob :D but indeed i did chamge my mind a lot about msx but RS there is nothing to change if the motors will work fine :)

@@mr_wrongway I hope so too because RS is expensive ;) Interestingly I tested higher speeds - arrived at 72km/h and didn't hear a single beep (only the third alarm was turned on in EUC world). The cam was attached to EUC and didn't register beep too. Those bearings are way less sturdy than old ones. They are thinner, which is a problem.

Great video as always! This RS looks really good, but I am not going to buy one. The problem with the bearings are too important and the lower foot plates are really annoying. Going for a MSP HT cheaper and less troubles. Thanks for the video.

Hey man I’m looking to get my first euc but I want something I can grow into and not upgrade once I get the hang of it and also not have a lot of problems, I mostly likely won’t ride in the rain, only 140lbs and I’ve been looking at the nikloa plus, the rs and the kingsong 16xl, out of those what do you think would be a good choice? Most of my roads are flat but I would like to do hill climbing and maybe even a little off-road, any suggestions would be great

@@truek1ng7 if it's your first one seriously consider getting a used one as it's going to get beat up and scuffed a lot when your figuring it out. I got my rs ht last week and it's a great wheel but Its heavy and not the easiest wheel to learn on

Good one Adam Very interesting point at the end about design just getting ‘bigger’ ‘faster’ ‘more gadgets’ just like the car industry. I know a chap who’s had the same model of car for 20+ years and this year it is now so big it will not fit in his garage. Also a good point about a ‘Lite’ version with no frills, all the fat trimmed off. Less to go wrong and better for fun riding and tricks. I bet it’d sell like hot cakes.

You say it all good work. Is very important buy from good selers and have free waranty this is main message what i feel in this review. I think RS can make many riders happy is just more road focused and have lover center of gravity what can make ideal euc for someone. RS HT torque must be insane gotway need powerpads for max fun. If you begode EX review end good maybee i purchase EX on next season i wait some time for real world result and overal quality first and second batches RS/EX (if veteran make HT BT LED version) I see some pictures EX without suspension ,this can be begode veteran direct competitor propably EX with RS motor speed focused(mybee si only mod like MSS just speculation).

I live in Yorkshire UK, it rains a lot , we have steep hills and bad pot holes everywhere, pavements etc are a mess, I really fancy one of these electric unicycle but feel they probably would not cope with these conditions? Also of course they are illegal but so I'd my DIY ebike! Thoughts?

So about the bearing problem, I would only be riding around the city nothing off road, all pavement, do you think I’d still have issues? I was sold on the Sherman but when I saw the RS19 specs and $700 difference I’m thinking wait a second, and it’s almost 30lb lighter..

Pytanie. Czy euc się nada na ścieżkę rowerową na której leży masa mokrych liści z dodatkiem że jest to pod górę jakieś 5km? Bo się zastanawiam nad jakimiś euc albo kit do przeróbki na e bike ale nie wiem czy kółko da radę w takich warunkach ( a są mniej więcej w tym samym przedziale cenowym) .

This csc tyre is a big shit. Got it in my previous ks18xl. Very stiff. No good grip. I feeled insecure to carve at max speed. The only good for this tyre I did not need to fill up with slime. Very strong. But I prefer Chao Yang tyre soft but grippy as hell.

Hi wrong way i might be off topic but i would like to buy a ruroc helmet but i am wearing glasses could you tell me if you get fog on your glasses inside when you wear it or not?

I wasnt wearing it with glasses. My GF was wearing it with glasses and it was not fogging up. Maybe a tiny bit on the edges but really good performance. It has double layered visor glass
