Small update on the motor bolt screws. So for the motor screws that go into the axle it’s 18nm for a new bolt (can’t be reused) and 12-17nm if you’re retightening it. 8nm is for the clamp screws

In my experience, I tried my friend's Lynx and I understand the bounciness, it felt really bouncy but it glides like a motorcycle fork would. People try my ET Max and theyre surprised to feel how smooth it is because when they step on it they sink down a 30% sag which is almost half of the lynx's total travel. IMO the telescopic fork suspension on Leaperkim wheels is as good as the telelever found on other wheels, especially if its an air shock allowing you variable bottom out support too, they just need some dry lubrication around the stanchion bushings to achieve the same responsiveness. The graphite plugged bushings seem to be lacking in their supposed dry lubing capabilities.

the acceleration assist is slightly different to the ride mode as explained to me by veteran. Technically having acceleration assist on 0% does not make the pedals harder as its not a direct correlation with ride mode. Acceleration assist leans the wheel forward between 0 to 2degrees and then bounces back(100%= 2 degrees), where as soft ride mode will continue to lean forward.

I have a few questions about EUCs. First, which is the EUC with the easiest way to change the tire? And which is the EUC that requires the least maintenance, i.e. less hassle with bolts, less adjustments like spring suspension, etc.? And could we say that EUCs are no longer dangerous to have inside a room, i.e. they don't cause short circuits or fires? And which would be the safest in this regard? Thanks for your videos, I'm thinking of buying one for work and school.

I'm with you on the pad space. I had the pads as far back as possible and still got sick of the unavoidable pressure against the back of my legs when I have no reason to touch them. I took the back pads off and loved it so much that I later took all the pads off and had the time of my life for about a week, as comfortable and free as can be... til I went too fast over a curb I thought was sloped in an unfamiliar neighborhood at night and bent the hell out of my rim. If I had kept the toe pads on at least, I could have jumped it. Maybe one day, there won't be any trade offs on EUC's. I wish I could have the velcro space of the Extreme Bull GT Pro on every EUC.

You’re wrong about the charger on the lynx being a bit dumb in regards to its constantly turning on and off near full charge. I currently have 2 100.8v wheels, the Sherman S and the falcon, of course, as you know when charging the S, the charger turns on and off as the lynx does when near full charge, but the falcon with its own charger does not turn on and off before finishing, it just stops. But if you place the Falcons charger on the Sherman S, it also turns on and off just before finishing just like the LeaperKim charges do. So what does that tell you, it’s not the charger behaving this way it’s the BMS telling the charger how to act. I would suspect a person with the experience you have to at least have looked at this situation before reporting on it. As in the past, you’ve also mentioned that only charging to 80% is better for the battery, which is also incorrect. Charging to 80% is well and good when dealing with one individual cell, but when dealing with groups of cells that need balancing, and you don’t have an active smart BMS to see the current cell voltage individually, you need to charge all these wheels to 100% to enable proper cell balancing. Charging to 100% is only really bad if you leave your wheel constantly in 100% charge status when not riding. You really need to get your facts straight before you post anything Sir.

{ tl;dr. No thanks to higher quality pedals and accessories, please! } I prefer that higher performance wheels come without pedals or pads as this would require riders to choose from several quality aftermarket sources. If all wheels came with higher quality pedals (like Begode) then our favorite aftermarket suppliers might seize to exist, which would be tragic for EUC enthusiasts everywhere. Yes, custom cut Velcro is welcome but NO to pedals, NO to anything other than cheap Power Pads, and NO to 95% of the headlights (especially Begode) because aftermarket lights are also best led left up to the customer’s discretion. If (after 10 years) we still cannot get a decent trolley handle, why distract the designers from their core competencies with the accessories that most would prefer choose for themselves? And, f@ck NO to a OEM seat! Why give customers more to worry about in making the decision between wheels? Aftermarket seats, pads, pedals, headlights (and trolley handles, maybe) should be left out of the new wheels package or made so cheaply that replacement is compulsory for the higher performance riders to choose for themselves. If we’d like something that all wheels should strive for, they should all come with adjustable height pedal hangers, which SHOULD BE a universal fit for all pedals. The trend towards proprietary accessories for each brand is one of the downsides to the industry that keeps consumers confused, while they delay their purchase to wait for the exact combination of characteristics that they desire, which costs sales and destroys profits and leaves riders second guessing themselves. Cast nubby pedals, crappy headlights, and generic pads are preferred because then I won’t be upset that I wasted funds on accessories that I will replace anyway or don’t even want (like 90# of the taillights offered thus far. Please stop asking for better pedals… they’re never as good a E-rides or Nylonove pedals… or the myriad of other accessories that are possible if modularity and interoperability were taken more seriously.
