@@G-unit054 absolutely. Adding in the pandemic, I feel like at least three years of my life were lost. I hope your mother has done well post surgery and recovery. My neck and arm still bother me to some degree, but that’s from the nerve damage the spinal stenosis did before diagnosis and surgery.

@@neilsun2521 man, I can only imagine! I fractured a rib playing football in 8th grade but didn’t get an X-ray to confirm. That thing bugged me for close to a year. I think it was one of those deals where you had to work to not only keep yourself on tv but also to make money in general. They didn't have guaranteed money where they got paid when injured like the guys do now. Punk gets his money no matter what. Nash and Henry didn't have that luxury on top of the fact that they weren't paid nearly as well as the guys do now or had the medical team that's available currently.

how unfortunate. again another reason why wwe has shat on the idea of a union for decades. any union would negotiate a cba to hold the company accountable for the health and well being of its employees and protect the performers jobs from threats of termination or otherwise for refusing to enter into an unsafe environment. and of course wrestling by its nature is rather unsafe but the employer can provide a reasonable amount of safety to its employees regardless (e.g. not working with an intoxicating co-worker)

His last match was for an independent in 2021, a tag team match. I imagine he didn't do much bumping if any. Then he answered that his last match in the WWF was in 2007.
@trevorbyrne46683 ай бұрын
Odd take. If you asked a young, active wrestler when their most recent match was, and their most recent match happened to be a tag where they hardly bumped for whatever reason (injuries, storyline, match length being cut due to overruns or whatever) they're going to answer that it was that last tag match. If James asked specifically when was Henry's last WWE/F match, or last match when he could go physically at full throttle, Henry would've told him. As he did, when James followed up.
