Every year, the junior musical theatre and acting classes of Wright State University direct a cabaret with other Wright State students performing in it. It is a wonderful opportunity for the students to direct and perform to raise funds to help the senior class get to New York City for their Senior Showcase!
Each senior class takes a showcase to New York City in the spring, a very important for the start of their careers! However, the showcase is expensive, so ALL of the proceeds of the Student Cabaret help fund their Senior Showcase, with a portion going to each class. The kindness from friends or family of any class directly supports every class!
