She hasn't played any WTA tournaments since 2023. The last time she made it to a main draw was in 2021. Now she's more focused on picket ball. I think it's safe to say that she retired from the WTA, she just doesn't want to announce it publicly. Which, she has the right to.

What is your source or are you just assuming?! I would have imagined at least Halep of these bunch will stick around for much longer, because of her motivation to proof herself and try and win another slam after the doping scandal...i doubt she'll retire THAT soon...The other three maybe, i can see that, but 2025 is as random of a guess than any other subsequent season...might as well pull off Venus Silliams and play beyond 40 years of age, you never know...

Basically it all comes down to their respective motivations and ambitions...if they want to stick around just for the sake of hitting the ball like Venus does these days they can keep playing until they are 45 or something, but if they have serious goals to keep going then how long they will stick around will be dictated by how successful and close they are to their goal, like i said with Halep it's clear she wants another grand slam title, otherwise she wouldn't bother with comeback and would just retire with the ban...now whether she'll actually get one or not, that's another question, but her motivation is clear, the other three not so much...
