Christmas 1983 was ridiculously cold on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I believe lows got into the single digits.

Thanks for posting. Christmas 1983 was spent at my grandmother's house in South Carolina. And it was COLD. Even though it was right before I came into the world, the only other cold Christmas was 1961 from what I had always been told.

mkl62 Interesting. There was also 1985 and 1989. I remember them being cold and snowy.

Sally Wiggin is still at WTAE today. She does a fantastic job at the station, no matter what she does there.

Laurence Amspoker Did you go to Rolling Acres Mall a lot? It’s on youtube. It’s near Akron. It’s gone now. Not from the area, but have become interested in the place through KZbin.

About the 02:00 Mark where this man is trying to get people to change to a different brand of whatever it is… When they got to the part about the laundry soap it is obvious the woman they are interviewing has never in her life seen a baseball game I am the exact opposite Of somebody who follows sports Even I know that eventually during the course of the game you’re going to go sliding through some sort of dirt patch somewhere on the field Besides that, it is an unwritten rule in that kid contract that you must, by way of dirt or mud or grass or food or paint or whatever, soil your clothing to an absolutely shocking level No fewer than twice a week
