Early 70s or so, before everybody had cable, somebody put a tower south of Harrisburg, PA to relay channels from Philly like 17, 29 and 48. As a kid, loved all those great reruns and movies! It took adding a little tin foil to the indoor antenna and tolerating a little static, but those days were fun!

Memories when I sold "radio advertising" for 580 WCHS in Charleston, West Virginia 1981-1983. I sold a lot of commercials during the Cincinnati Reds games.

I think you uploaded this before. I know I have seen it before. My dad used to watch that channel and I remember the Phillies commercials. I recently became a Phillies fan and love the Phillie Phanatic. These commercials do bring back some good memories.

Off topic to the specific video, but relevant to the PA / Philly area TV ads I guess: I wonder, did Pocono Action Park in Tannersville ever run TV ads? (I know the original Vernon NJ Action Park def did in their area/the metro NY area, and the offshoot Action Mountain in Pine Hill, NJ, which lasted even less than Pocono Action Park, advertised as well, which'd make them not advertising really surprising).
