His son inadvertently saved his life. It blows my mind how fate and circumstances can lead you to your death or save your life.

Did anyone here happen to work for or know anybody who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald? My cousin, Laura Angilletta worked as a purchase and sales clerk on the 101st floor. She perished once the building collapsed. I’m just curious to see if anybody has any stories about her or if she attempted to make any extra phone calls to anyone before she passed. I know the chances are slim (because 667 out of 960 cantor employees perished that day) but if anybody knows anything, please reach out❤️

My friends father worked at cantor Fitzgerald. He passed that day … his son(my friend) went on to write a book called sway, that came out three years ago

I'm very, very sorry for your loss from that dark day. If I may ask, did they ever recover your cousin's remains from Ground Zero.

@@ABALLAM3 Thank you❤️. They found a portion of a hand/finger with her engraved ring on it. Not sure if this was discovered at ground zero or the Staten Island Fresh Kills landfill. (That landfill acted as a forensic staging area for post 9/11 debris search)

If you remember it was Howard Lutnick who was kicking up a fuss about having to pay out insurance claims for those who perished in the tower collapse. A few of his comrades took him aside and told him to settle down. Arrangements would be made.

He commented in 2014 that the first design meeting for the new WTC7 was in April 2000, almost two years before 9/11. Why would a real estate developer need to make plans to rebuild a building that hadn't been destroyed yet unless it was all premeditated?
