I think, the storyline would fit more to the animated movie, because the actors who were playing the role would be unfamiliar to the audience, adding into the problem, it is fast paced and due to this, it would definitely be executed bad. In order to avoid it, it needed time to conclude the ambitious crossover. It was ambitious same as Batman vs Superman but would face the same result.

I didn't recall before you started telling about villians misusing JL contingency plans against them. Its one of the great comic story for an alternate universe's trilogy or maybe solo movie. Great to see more people think this movie would be great. It was suppose to come out when I was in highschool in 2007ish. Alot were downing the script after it didn't get released. Which had me puzzled but the script was ahead of it's time. It had ideas in the script that would have changed everything. And the ending was legendary.
