I don't play the game anymore, but I played the update and actually enjoyed the non Warframe parts. art is good. gameplay is not perfect but pretty good if you ignore the bugs. Warframe parts feel slow and tedious. story is meh if not bad. Still it is insane that they chose to show this almost 4 years ago.

@@MinkDaddy Yea ive been getting into destiny 2 lately for that when i take breaks from wf. It's the best alternative to warframe. It rewards how you build/mod your loadouts as the game is actually challenging, and the game has a focus on end game.. Raids and dungeons are all super fun to play with others since they require teamwork/coordination, and the rewards are satisfying. Destiny like warframe is a sci fi looter shooter as well

Not hating on yugioh i played from 01 to 04 back for elemental dragons and a brief return during pendulums then dinos but adter 04 went full time mtg. Love slide attacking four Dax soldiers in a row and inflicting them with Toxin, Fire, and Cold statuses just by existing. I'm sorry the gameplay feels clunky and is uninteresting to you.

Honestly this is my biggest gripe with Warframe as a whole, it’s like they only know to add new layers to this game yet once they finish a layer they don’t ever come back to revisit it, like ever, how many system have been left to gather dust? How many areas of this game are just clunky at best? It’s like the only know how to move forward and not stopping to making sure the machine is well oiled and their tires are in good shape. I haven’t touched Warframe in almost two years now I haven’t even tried out that New War thingy because I’m simply not arsed to play that game just for an alternative operator and custom Lotus. This kind of practice definitely takes a toll on the well established player base, because god knows that they take whole years to fix or rework a frame that’s utterly broken or suboptimal at best. Instead of constantly adding new stuff should get their sh*t together properly, if not they’re only making the game more convoluted. That’s my main takeaway from all of this, Warframe lacks direction.

Claimed Railjack would somehow fix it. Boom, Railjack is a content island. What're we doing with that? What're we doing with Necramechs? Now we got Drifter melee, but it only exists in Duviri... Game is more disconnected than ever. This update makes me feel like they're just testing the waters for Soulframe.

The update was a decent mission but as you have mentioned it was not worth the four-year wait. Additionally, DE seemed to have come to the conclusion that they have lost face with the old players but can somehow redeem themselves by exploiting fresher players. As for playing warframe in general, I don't that much anymore. I just log in whenever there is an update or a reward to claim. However, the game has been pretty directionless too me.

As much as I love the update, I feel like they take a little bit too long for these updates, and then at most the content lasts you for like a month or so. One thing that makes their game so flawed is their lack of cross-save. I remember when they used to respond to people about how they'd never add cross-save, and somehow now they say that cross-save is in development. I feel like they should focus on one thing at a time, this is what is causing them to push out "huge updates" 2 years after they announced it.

Fashion frame is end game. It's never changed. I stopped grinding warframe in 2018 and only login like 2-3 times a year and every time it's just more things to farm but no reason to actually farm. My gear from 5 years ago is still more than enough for anything at level 100 or under.

I'm not gonna lie. The gameplay for Duviri is amazing. I played for 2 or 3 solid hours the other day and didn't feel like falling asleep at my keyboard. That's a huge win for DE. They DESPERATELY need to start porting this kind of combat over to the main/base game ASAP. However, putting the Undercroft into the drifter's gameplay loop was a terrible decision. It completely breaks the flow of the game. However, their story for Duviri was hot GARBAGE. Questions: 1. Once a month since the start of the last nightwave season. 2. I played the update. 3. I LOVE the Drifter gameplay. The Undercroft is the worst part of the game after the story. Edit: I agree. 4 years for what little we got was not worth it. After 4 years, the entire game should have had the combat updated to this.

DE we made a content island so far removed from the game it's a game inside of a game, just to inflate our player base. No, don't use your own over powered warframe, use this extremely over powered starter warframe with 300% stats. No, don't use your own amp, use this over powered intrinsics system instead. I made a lot of Progress in a year, cause you know (i was addicted), however not everyone can literally spent hundreds of hours in the game and we all know the Games meta is what ppl are doing anyway all the Time so actually I would claim that those „hardcore“ players basically made bullet sponges out of some Content Just to feel happy about it. I get you want content. We all do. „Hardcore“ stuff isnt really hardcore by the Game itself usually speaking and most games btw don’t offer that too.

For the first time in a while I actually had fun with the new grind in the steel path adds something different u can get trash weapons with a good Warframe or the other way around makes the game challenging for once. They need to add more game modes like this tbh. On the other hand (iykyk Warframe is a 50/50 game) the copy and paste feeling is still there and they need to be more consistent with new frames and primes because the amount of grinding in that game is so easy that u dry up the game before you get your new content plus the lack of attention to the game is obvious not reworking frames that should have been fixed years ago the copy and paste in abilities like the fact that one ability like nidus and khora are almost identical also ivara, ash, Loki. It’s kinda annoying how they don’t care enough or are to afraid to make and ability outside the 15 abilities they have and the insane cost of platinum. The trade chat over pricing. I still play this game and I played through this update (including the circuit) and I gotta say, this is the most worthless garbage update DE has released in years. I found more enjoyment out of railjack and I only had a passing interest in it to begin with. The mountain of bugs and the godly levels of jank in the combat is enough to not only make me dislike this update, but actively want to avoid it. The circuit has crazy potential tho and I want to see DE update that consistently. Some bug fixes and content updates would be fire but as it stands, Durivi Paradox is mid.

They keep adding new mechanics and little bubbles of different gameplay loops, but the reality is that most of us already have Warframes, guns, weapon mods, etc. that we are already perfectly fine with and get us through the content with ease. Hard-nerfing us for story missions is one thing, but they're stuck in a place where they can't nerf us outside of that, but they also can't make us more powerful every time. They're stuck adding new, specific and niche mechanics every update because that's all they can think of. I don't know, maybe go back and revisit the entire planets that have nothing unique going for them. Jupiter was a good start, however many years ago they did that. So many mechanics and entire sections of the game haven't seen much love since they were made. Stop adding and make the game as it is better.

Personally I like what we got in Duviri but it definitely wasn't 4 year wait worthy. It seems like they spend so long working on a big update then split it into like 6 parts and drip feed us. Like you said, seems like they're tryna stay afloat with it. Honestly it looks like from Zarimman and New War through to Duviri was supposed to be the big update but they just cut it all into minor updates while calling them major ones.

@@dsz_ta1nt3d nah it doesnt Tbh. See, basically everything they did in that time was constant updates, new quests, new enemies, new frames, sounds and so on. Their Team is Limited. As far as i know pablo for example THE goat when it comes to gameplay mechanics> attributes, skills, abilities and also decrees whatever you may call it. Whenever a frame gets reworked, an arcane added or mod released pablo probably had his hands on that. Well this is his profession after all, however he seems to be working with an small team overall. It was hinted at least several times in the past since pablo was also the guy who did all decrees (they talked about the decrees on Stream) so he seems to be very busy. Honestly it seems that he is basically doing it all on his own sometimes lol. So when he is working on lets say voruna, he cant do frame xy. I would say that 4 years ago they announced their plans (they are always early to do that) and they made several concepts on the side while main goal was basically „next update, cause live service“ so they couldnt really focus with that manpower on an update years in advance. Then soulframe became also a thing which basically made the wf team a bit smaller and veterans (thank god pablo didnt switch too) to start working on the new concept/pitch which they also recently showed VERY EARLY in development (concept gameplay with duviri mechanics and stuff as placeholders) to show it off what it could be. DE isnt always great in terms of updates, yes, but considering how busy they seem most of the time I think it’s reasonable. DE isn't hurting for funding, granted they aren't rich, but they aren't in the red... if they're putting all that work onto one man and his small team instead of spreading it out then yeah, it makes sense why we have poor update quality, quantity and time frame. The dude is being overworked if he's being made responsible for ALL of that content. Granted... he's damn good at what he does, but one man can only do so much, even if he has a few people on his team to help him. Honestly, it's become pretty obvious that it's too much work for the devs they have, now with quite a few leaving for soulframe it's gonna be even more hectic and difficult for them to finish things properly.

All my Warframe progress was done on the Ps4. As I no longer have one nor a ps4 as all my friends are on xbox I got the series X over a year ago. With that said if DE would quit BULLSHITTING WITH CROSS-SAVE CROSS-PROGRESSION. i would definitely hope one warframe currently and time to time basically every major update. So damn the update. FLIP THE GDAMN SWITCH FOR CLOUD SAVES SO THAG WE CAN HAVE CROSS SAVE

I play this as an alternative to destiny, long story short that game just isn’t fun to play, work for something to have it nerfed immediately, take a few weeks off you miss out on something never to return, zero power fantasy and pointless grind especially post lightfall, at least in warframe everything you do gives you something even though they aren’t always major, there’s ALOT of grind in warframe but it’s definitely more fun in my opinion but everyone has the right to feel however they wish

Warframe forsake it's loyal community for a revolving door system because it doesn't need brand loyalty to make money. Get people in. Spend money and get out because there's nothing here if you did stay. No loyalty required for a treadmill to nowhere. To make a monetization system work with veterans you need to make a balanced detailed game. Which DE has consistently shown, they can't.

The update was pretty good, does have some problems but overall the update is pretty good. The thing thats killing me is the random loadouts, its fine for lower levelled enemies but steel path as hard as balls unless yiu get lucky and get your good stuff

@EkremSlayer Do you have access to helminth? You could try subsuming something into every frame to help carry you. Like terrify to armor strip for frames without good damage abilities. Without armor, the random weapons do better

The fucked up thing is they know they bad at introducing the game. They gave up on fixing it so they made another game in a game instead. And it actually has some of the explanations and loaner equipment instead of changing the old game. And they know this because in the AMA before release they got asked: What would you do differently if you were making warframe from scratch today? DE said: Everything.

I'm just fed up with damn walking simulators. They make us grind, and pray, and scream for the most simple shit. Claw your way to build up your frame, your mods, your weapons, your pets, your archguns, your mechs, your ship. And every...single...quest is just hey how about you get to use none of that. You play this game to walk very slowly down a hallway and listen to Teshin die again. 2 more deaths and he gets a free ice cream, keep slowly walking and you might get a .png file of it!

Dude I have 500 on Xbox, came back on pc, raced back to Mr 16, had a good time with this update but the bugs are terrible and I don’t know what’s going on with the lore. From playing the game it seems like Duviri might be linked to the events that caused the zariman to go crazy as a result turning people into void angels and a new strange race of humans living on floating islands lol I like warframe but I agree with criticism, I just had fun, I don’t really play too much for the lore, gameplay is really good but there’s too many plot holes with the Duviri paradox

4 years of waiting so I can play a broken circuit of game modes I've been playing for almost a decade (aside from void flood) so I can make my old weapons relevant. Aside from that the Drifter combat is a little clunky imo but enjoyable the more I got used to it. Its a bitter sweet feeling, I'm glad we got new content but for it to have taken this long and for half of it to be this lackluster is disheartening

Old war was the last best update imo it was actually good content. Updates today only last 2 maybe 3 hours ( story wise )
