Hi I’m a 4’11 woman and 30 pounds is quite a lot of weight for a short woman to put on or take off. At 120 pounds my chest starts to protrude out and yet it’s still some weight and at 110 I’m skinny, but still at a healthy weight. I feel my best at 98 pounds and it sounds scary skinny, but it’s still the middle range of healthy weight I can go. Don’t want to go any smaller, my choice. She’s 5’1, I want to say she’s at least taken 10 pounds off.

Even Britney Spears was called fat multiple times for being an entirely healthy weight. And we're not talking todays standards where people argue that a healthy weight can include the overweight BMI. She was well within the healthy range getting called fat-along with any other woman who had the tiniest of pooch. If you didn't have a complete flat or concave abdomen-fat shaming galore. And people still got nose jobs, Lipo, face lifts, etc. They're just better at the surgeries nowadays than they were back then. It was NOT healthy or better than today.

I'm a fan of Ari, I've followed her since Victorious so I can say that she has not been the same size all her life. She was skinny but normal at first, then she gained weight, lost a shit ton of it while her music career explotion, then on the thank u next era she gained a lot of weight and everybody was talking about it. If you see her grammy's performance u can easily tell that her body is a lot fuller and all her fans were really happy for her cause she looked healthier. During covid and when she started reapearing, her new album, her wedding, the voice and everything we all saw the weight GONE she is skinnier than ever. I've always think that she struggles with an eating disorder, so she has ups and downs.

Getting a deviated septum fixed does *NOT* change your nose shape! I had a septoplasty, as they call it, and I look exactly the same. Why? Because the *inside* was changed for a clearer nasal passage. The outside wasn't fiddled with at all. A nose only looks different if someone gets a combined septoplasty and rhinoplasty.

They offered me surgery on a bit inside my nose that swells up though, so if that were to be removed then my nose wouldn't swell anymore, and my nose would looks smaller. Then they retracted that offer though, we have free healthcare and I guess their budget didn't go very well 🫣

I thought the same thing as soon as I saw some recent photos. It’s so sad because she’s so beautiful and her weight was really great and then she lost a lot. But anyways, I know it’s deeper than that when you struggle w/ed’s. I have also been that small because I am petite and whenever I’ve gone to a real strict and healthy diet I will lose a few pounds and then it’s just too much because I can’t afford to lose any. I have also been in a coma during cancer treatment, and I was down to that size as well in my body looked similar to hers. I know the exact science to look out for that indicate if I need to start taking protein powder, and work to put on a few and when that happens, the same bones show that are showing on her right now. Hopefully she can get help for it. She did say somewhere not long ago that she switched her diet and was eating way healthier… for people that cannot afford to lose any. I know that can be a real issue but still there are ways to eat healthy and work a bit to keep on the weight. Hopefully it is just diet.

@jacob, they did not say they know her they said they have experience treating people with eating disorders, and that’s what it looked like to them. Anytime your bones show like that it’s not healthy. I’ve said, a few times in the comments, I am petite as well and have had to work at times to keep the weight on. Whenever I go to eating really healthy like she said she has, then I lose a few and I can’t afford to lose any. When my bones show that are showing on her back, chest, and clavicle then that’s a sign to start drinking that protein powder.

It is sad because all the plastic surgery is it making them look older when it’s all said and done….a little minor stuff doesn’t, but people go way out of control with it and then when they do get older, the surgeries don’t tend to age well and they look worse because of it or they have to keep having stuff done that they wind up looking completely fake as an old lady….or at some point something gets botched…and we’ve all seen a bunch of those botched jobs where people having way too much done has made them look like monsters all because they just can’t stop. I think for some it causes mental health issues and extreme body dysmorphia and they continue trying to fix themselves more and more and wind up ruining who they were to begin with.

Speaking from the personal experience of having had a rhinoplasty that required revision, I think that the cartilages on the sides of Ariana’s nose may be collapsing inward. The gradual thinning that my nose underwent looked exactly like this and had an aesthetic effect that I actually liked but was structurally unsound.

I've questioned getting a nose job since being a child. I have a Greek looking nose. Big, but not too big. I'm glad I never felt so insecure to get one because it really gives a person their own unique character to their nose. Every celeb has gotten their nose done even if they don't admit it. How in the world would all female celebs have all small noses? So of course you compare and feel like your nose should be smaller to be considered beautiful and attractive. Hopefully one day what will be in fashion is accepting what God has given you.

Having had a rhinoplasty I honestly didn’t feel any pain. My recovery was super easy and it was the easiest process I’ve ever been through. I just chose my surgeon carefully, followed aftercare advice and made sure I used the pain medication I’d been given as prescribed (despite never feeling like I needed to take it!) I’d recommend doing your research, ask questions, expect realistic outcomes and don’t do anything risky! If you have a good surgeon you shouldn’t experience that much pain as they’re very skilled. Swelling and bruising should be minimal 😊 I hope this helps anyone who is considering it!

I think she experienced SA while working for Nick (I'm sure people have heard all the shit with Schneider) and "coped" with it mentally and emotionally by developing severe dissociation from her body and body dismorphia, which can be a predisposition to an ED developing.

@@mden08 Yeah, these celebrities "have to" keep getting filler to try to maintain whatever look they're going for because filler stretches the skin's tissue and, thus, requires repeat injections of filler. Then they end up having layers and layers of filler in their face and look puffy and strange. Kim Kardashian looked like that for a few years up until about 2020. She still has a truckload of filler in her lips though. Even if she stopped with lip fillers and got them dissolved, her lips will never return to looking the natural way they did when she was 20-something-years-old. The lip tissue has been expanded too much. She'll probably still be getting lip fillers until she's 80 or dead. Sad. 😒

I’ll have to disagree. I always had chubbier cheeks despite having a very petite/ skinny body. But somehow since last year (I turned 27) my buccal fat has somehow just shrunken. People noticed and asked me if I lost weight. But My lifestyle and weight hadn’t changed. I think me aging and going towards the big 30 made me just naturally loose the babyfat. It’s probably different for everyone and has a lot to do with genetics. In Ariana’s case the difference is so subtle that I really think that it’s natural. I could be wrong tho

Compared to the 10 years younger one, except for my hair turning gray that I don't dye and the lines around my mouth being more pronounced my face looks the same, the uneven eyes, the brows, the bone structure, they look exactly the same. Your face doesn't change that much through aging, not at 30 ^^

I do think she's slowly losing even more weight that's why she looks so different as of recently. I've been her fan since 2015 and while she's always been petite and quite thin, recent photos look so triggering to me (I have an ED). She's dropped A LOT of weight since The Voice season came out and even then she had already lost quite the amount of weight compared to 2020. There are also a lot of rumors about a possible ED. I don't know. Maybe it's just the stress of the filming of Wicked, as she's been on set for like 14 hours a day. I'm genuinely worried about her and I hope she's okay. 🤍

I’ve had two nose jobs (second one was to correct some issues I had with the first one) and personally I didn’t find either painful, afterwards it was more uncomfortable trying to breathe with the bandages and gauze (might have misspelled that) for about a week but it’s not sore, however your nose will be swollen for a few months after so you don’t get to see the full transformation for a few months and I also think if you’re having surgery you shouldn’t take it lightly and REALLY look into it and even try therapy first, surgery is not something to ever be blasé about

I think one of the things that people tend to not talk about is the "dysphoria" probability of why people sometimes keep getting plastic surgery. We talk about how it's okay to get surgery if you have money means etc. and we keep supporting their decisions etc. but there are the psychological damages that's probably happening with some of them. If there's body dysphoria, I'm sure they have facial dysphoria as well. It'll never be enough for them, like drugs. You taste the light side then you go deeper and suddenly the addiction is real...same with plastic surgery. Now that these starletts are starting younger like 14/15/16, the psychological need to keep it going is probably stronger and probably harder to quit/stop entirely. I'm always thinking their kids especially their daughters won't look like them and that their daughters are born to get plastic surgery because of that. I feel sad more so for the Korean actresses and singers who get it done because some of them don't even look Korean anymore and their daughters will look nothing like them with such extreme changes.

Yes I do believe she’s had work done and loosing weight will bring out your bone structures including the work you’ve done. I had two nose job. They honestly don’t hurt , you maybe uncomfortable for a while due to splints and bandages , but other than that sleeping elevated is the hardest and most challenging part of a rhinoplasty.

I’ve had a nose job before. Honestly was not that painful for me. They give you medicine for the pain. It’s mostly just uncomfortable. I had to lay upright to sleep for about a week and that was probably the most inconvenient thing about it. However I will say that u have to be very careful afterwards. Your nose will be sensitive and accidentally bumping it even lightly will be very painful.
